Jets Release Justin Miller

Per Mangini. Posted on Jets Insider as well.

Any chance he comes to New England?

Re: Jets Release Justin Miller

You would have to see him as more valuable than any of the current CBs on the roster. Unless Wheatly is going to be out for an extended period, I don't see it.

Re: Jets Release Justin Miller

I liked Justin Miller coming out of Clemson. Dependig on wheatley's wrist injury, it may be worth it.
Heck, I would bring him into camp this week just to mess with mangina's head :D

All you would get would be a returner with some speed. He sucks in coverage, and don't you remember... he slaps women outside of clubs and then runs.

and they would be getting someone with knowledge about the Jets playbook. :D

Re: Jets Release Justin Miller

I'm not sure why he was taken off kickoff returns last year but I'd be interested in him just for that and to keep Hobbs off of returns.

Re: Jets Release Justin Miller

The J-E-S-Ts concerned with players' character; that's a joke. Meanwhile, their FO & HC have none at all. Damn, but I hate NY/NJ.

The FO should fly Miller to Foxborough immediately for a workout/interview. If he meets with BB's requirements, then he is an instant upgrade over Wilhite & Richardson.

we should sign him and toss him in the ol' interrogation room toss him a few bucks and send him on his way

I don't believe the Pats have an open roster spot, but as good as Hobbs has been, I would LOVE to have another kick returner back there so as to not risk Hobbs every time. He's become pretty important in the secondary.
