LOL

Classic.

Maybe Mangini thinks he can get some info on the Pats game plan from him.

This is quite a surprise.

How are the Jets allowed to spend their salary cap limit twice in one year?

===================================================

I think the Jets had close to a Mil in cap, not sure. Most teams keep some cap space to sighn FA's in season, and if they don't need it they spend it on some player's existing contract to lower next seasons total cap hit.

i guess he read the thread by DaBruinz

I just don't understand why the Patriots did not do more to get him or D. Hall.
Ty Law can play both safety and ornerback , 2 areas of critical need for the Patriots.

Looks like the Patriots FO was outmaneuvered, unless they truly believe he sucks and is done

Seems like this will give the JETS a big emotional lift

Dear Fredo,

Please have Law cover Moss in the slot.

Please please please please please!

Regards,
Chris

This will be interesting.

I loved watching Ty Law. One of my favorites. That interception return in the Super Bowl was one of the most exciting moments as a Patriots fan.

I was hoping he would contribute to the Pats this year if he was willing to sign for a million or so. Who knows if he has anything left.

So what if he signs with some other team. The Patriots brought in Jason Webster off the street rather than Law. How is Law's decision anti-Patriotic?

You're onto something here.

Well, he was able to play both. We don't know for sure that he can still do it now.

I'm guessing he'll get his fair share of boos on Thursday.

perhaps the Patriots could sign Tim Fox.

agreed, the pats (maybe others like dolphins) think he might be done.

Who knows.. how much can he help them this week?

The jetsare going for broke.

That's assuming he a game active. We can only hope that the Jets are that desperate to field a guy whose been in their system 72 hours.

Wow, I didn't see that coming. So now we get to play against the "HERO" and the "LAW". Nice.

Maybe to counter we'll give Boomer Esiason and Curtis Martin contracts. :D

Maybe he comes to the Jets with a minimum contract with big escalators.

I am thinking safety help and nickle.

This will be Laws second go around as a Jet, time to dust off the old jersey.

Well if they play the Colts in the playoffs he might be useful.
