Big wins again by the Jets, Fish and Pats.

Jets and Pats tied for the AFCE in week 11.

I am becoming quite excited to see the Pats and Jets play on Thursday

The Jets were able to avoid injury and rest some of there starters in the 2nd half, which should help with the short week.

What's the weather forecast for Thursday?

I wouldn't call beating a weak NFC team a a big win. You can thank the Pats for dealing another loss to a division rival. :rocker:

Have I ever mentioned that I detest the Seahawks.

I actually thought the Rams would put up a better fight, they looked much better against the Pats.

It's not that the Jets beat the Rams, but how they went about it that makes me call it a big win.

Best thing for the Patriots is a night game against the Manginas for first place = loud crowd.

Prime time baby!

Marshawn Lynch > Thomas Jones
Edwards > Favre

What's the problem here?

Not for nothing but I believe Jones is the leading rusher in the AFC.

I agree. Congratulations on a sound W.

Since the Pats didn't look that great against the Rams, I am sure a good % of the Jets-nation is looking forward to blow us out.

More reason for you guys to feel confident: SVN (I think) pointed out elsewhere that the Jets play better against the Pats when playing here at Foxboro.

And no word on our Adalius Thomas' injury yet, which is excellent news for you if he doesn't play next week.

Let's see.

I am not predicting a win let alone a blow out.

Pats have owned the Jets for so long, week 2 was probably a better chance for the Jets to win then week 11, who knows.

The good news to Jet fans is the Jets have put back to back good performances together and have done it with out relying on the Hero.

I hope AT plays.

Yes, I agree. It should be a very good game.

It was also good that the Pats got to rest thier D for almost the entire 4th quarter. :D

I see a Pats win if one of Morris/Jordan plays and AD plays. Without those guys in, this game is a tossup IMO. One thing that's very interesting is that both teams are trending upwards. The reason the Pats were an easy pick vs. the Bills is because the Pats are on their way up while the Bills are on a miserable cold streak. Both the Jets and Pats are trending it up, and with big injuries on the Pats side of the ball, the game is impossible to predict.

It sounds more impressive than it is though. The AFC has crap for RBs and the teams that are in the top 10 in rushing from the AFC (Tennessee, New England, and Oakland) are RB by committee. Jones may be running the best out of any AFC RB, but even you can't argue he is having a good year. He's had two spectacular games and one good game and the rest were mediocre to average at best.

That said he is running better than Lynch.

This should be a great game. Jets looking to get even, all the Jets-Patriots ties, New York - Boston rivalry, and oh, it's two teams tied for the division lead too. The hype machine should be in full force this week, even if the game is onlo the NFL Network - imagine if it was on espn instead!

Here in Canada it's on TSN, which broadcasts a lot of ESPN games. For some reason, I have to watch it on TSN while NFLN shows some gay stuff about high-school FB.

Anyway, the Jets got a lot of points today, but I don't believe they have the capacity for ball control NE does and that will be a big deal Thursday night.

Also, the crowd will be a lot louder, I imagine.

ohh man, im gonna have to apologize for the pats their fans, the players, the team, ownership and coach....

the pats are gonna have to bring unhappiness to the jets again...

(week 2 seemed like yesterday)

i wouldnt say its down to 2....not when the standings are
NE 6-3
Jets 6-3
Buffalo 5-4
Miami 5-4

While history proves that, since BB has become our coach, the Jets have always played the Pats better in our house. One has to wonder why and who was responsible for this limited success against us.

Was it the Jets as a team who played better or was it more that Pennington elevated his game when he came to our house.

My vote is a lot of the improved play was due to Pennington a real student of the game who always played better the second time he saw us in a season. It seems that Pennington learns from his mistakes and improves with practice.

We will see Thursday night how much of a student of the game Favre is and if he improves with practice.

Will Favre perform better in his second meeting with us by learning from his earlier mistakes or will he rely on being "Favre the Narcissistic Sandlot Demigod Gunslinger of ESPN Lore" and say to hell with the team i want to play my game my way. For me First and then also for all my fans at in the media who have absolutely nothing to lose if i throw one or five or even six picks.

I fancy our chances. Both teams have improved since the week 2 meeting but over the last two weeks I think the Jets have REALLY turned a corner. The glimpses that were there earlier in the season are becoming consistent and we're finally finishing off teams.

It should be an epic match up, it's a hard one too predict but I think the Jets will shade it.
