BB reponds with a spark?

Considering he didn't rest his starters last year with a 4 TD lead on Miami or in meaningless games of week 15,16,17 - I doubt BB has much belief in the "rest your starters" school of thought. Especially after the common occurrence of #1 or #2 bye week playoff teams folding at home in their first playoff game.

who would ask such a strange question ?
The idiots in the media who believe that Belichick cares more about beating the Jets and Mangini than doing what is right for his team. Once the media creates a narrative, they can only look at the world through that narrative. Anything that challenges the narrative is ignored or mocked.

well...how does relate to todays game ? whatever BB's philosophy maybe ?

I heard the conf. in the car. A woman asked the question, but I'm not sure who.

Apparently, Mangini rested starters in the second half.

I heart Bill Belichick. Half of the fun of being a Pats fan is watching the Post game press conference. :D

I heart Bill Bilichick too but for more reasons than just press confrences :D

Anyone have a link for the audio or video of this? This is one that I would like to save. haha

Listening to EEI and they claim it was a producer from the NFL network.. not sure how all this works..

Man... if that's why the doucheface reporter asked that question, than they seriously need to understand what the hell is going on.

New York was up 40 flipping points, New England was up 10.

Was she hot?

Man but BB was like seriously tweaked. Maybe she was from his favorite network espn.

It was a very naive question, but I think BB overreacted. He could have just answered it matter-of-factly and moved on. He kind of beat it to death.

I think alot of that from BB, not only is the truth, but out of restpect for Juran. I mean did anyone really think that they were going to be able to "rest" anyone down the stretch of this game.

He should have said, I had the offense stay out there to give my d some rest.

ha ha, I loved it!

sounding like Keyshawn up there...."come on man"!...

LOL:D

BB gave the deserved answer, end of story. His disdain for questions that lack any thought or knowledge is well documented and the preponderance of that type of media representation is part of the reason he's the way he is when it comes to them.

Classic BB:singing:

But also note he gave credence to someone else's question regarding the tendency of rookie RB's to try and go for the 80 yard run instead of just gutting it out. THAT was a great question and BB acknowledged it as such.

I remember doing a phone interview with a reporter from a local business newspaper. We were expanding our wharehouse space.

The reporter wanted to know if that means we were expanding. I told him we needed the space because we were downsizing. The reporter thought that was interesting. I then explained that ofcourse it means we are expanding.

After 15 minutes, I wanted to throttle the guy.

I am actually suprised BB gets along as well as he does with the media.
