Profootballtalk just reported it, they got it through Schefter. Sry cant post a link.... so much 4 that .

I think this was a stumbling, fumbling, bumbling move by the Pats, considering the amount of our injuries in the secondary.....and a BRILLIANT move by the skins.....solidifying their secondary and preparing for postseason.......Not sure what BB is thinking.....but Hall should have been a HUGE upgrade here............

For 400 grand thats a deal you make. After Randy we cant say crap about good players in bad situations. Randy was the worse than hall, and he turned out fine in a better situ.

yes.....Randy is OK......for now........

No ****... when hasn't being bested by Dan Snyder on a FA been a clear indication of what a stumbling, fumbling, bumbling organization we are comparatively speaking...

Are you sayig that taking a chance on Hall for 400 grand is a bad move? At WORST we cut him and eat the money, at best he helps the secondary not be jagville USA. Randy was every bit the cancer that hall is before he came to the pats, and he would have shut his mouth over 10 games so he could get payed next year!

Hall's a neanderthal, he had his choice where he wanted to play and he chose the dysfunctional franchise close to home AKA the Redskins. Screw him dont want a player as dumb as him on the Pats.

I clicked on this thread because I was wondering why a thread about the great Redskins theme song was doing on the Pats board.
Upon quick glance at the header, I also thought it was about their song.

Regards,
Chris

I don't see how signing Hall solidifies anything. Did you watch any Raiders games? I have. He is not a good CB. Maybe you can scheme in a zone to cover up his lack of coverage ability and hope that he can occasionally ballhawk a pick in between getting burned. But the guy can't tackle and can't cover. Why would anyone want him?

The Pats never had a real shot at the guy. He wanted to play in the Virginia area because he went to Virginia Tech. Besides, when did an average CB like Hall become Deion Sanders?

You anti-Patriots guys are really out there.

He wasn't that good in Atlanta either. He had a very good rookie and sophomore season and coast so far the rest of his career living off his reputation.

Maybe he will grow up and put some work in behind his natural ability, but until he does he will be yet another overrated underachiever who lived off his repuation earned early in his career like Roy Williams and Kendrall Bell.

Just because you make an offer to someone doesn't mean they will automatically accept.

Hm... now there's something. Let's sign Deion "Matador" Sanders up!

In a related story, there are openings for new Skins fans. Trust us, you'd clearly be happier there. Others take note.

BRiZ is correct. He (Hall) called into the Red Zone on Sirius Radio Friday afternoon and that's the primary reason he gave for choosing the 'Skins. The other reason he gave was that he was looking for a team that just didn't want him for the rest of this season. Apparently the Skins gave him the indication they would consider signing him again after this season.
