This decision of who I want to win between these two is TOUGH

I hate the Steelers and Colts more than any other team outside of the AFC East so thats the beginning of a tough choice

If the Steelers win they edge closer to grabbing the #1 or #2 seed or at least solidify thier stance in the conference as the best team or close to the best and practically force NE to win most of their remaining games to try and have a shot at #2 - A loss would sink the Steelers in trying to hold onto the #2 seed and move them back where others would have a shot at the bye.

If the Colts win they improve their shot at a wild card berth and will make New England have to win the division if the Colts continue to win down the road because in a wild card situation the Patriots would lose the tiebreaker since the Colts beat them last week - A Colts loss puts them on the fringe of being a longshot in the playoff picture

So who do you want to win this game - Indy or Pittsburgh?

Since NE has not lost to or played Pitt yet I want Pitt to win this game since I think if the unexpected happens (IMO) and NE does make the playoffs, they would not be a #2 anyway.

Regardless of who I hope will win, I think the Colts are gonna be dog food at the end of this game. The Steelers D is insane.

I can't root for the Colts unless is directly, for sure, helps the Patriots. Yes, it could help if we're battling the Steelers for seeding but right now I have no clue if we will be so, although I may regret it down the road, I'm rooting for the Steelers.

We really only need to be concerned with the Colts if you don't think the Pats will win the division. It is far from a guarantee right now, but you do really need to be concerned with the division at this point. If the Pats win the division, the Colts' record is irrelevant. So you have to hope that the Colts win this Sunday.

That said, I think the Steelers will win. They are Blitzburgh again this year and I think they will take Manning off his game. I also think that Leftwich if he plays may be more effective than Roethlisberger would have because he has a far quicker release.

The Steelers, although I hope all of their fans suffer slow painful deaths

As always: Not the Colts.

If you expect the Pats to win Sunday, the Colts.

If you expect the Pats to lose Sunday, the Steelers.

The Colts are getting killed period.

They were ******* GIVEN a victory when they absolutely needed it. You think they'll beat a team that can actually mess your QB up? I have no doubt about it, Pittsburgh should handle them well.

I want to see the colts lose

I would like to see the Colts win. And a win that everyone calls lucky. (very few giving us a shot)

Sounds like Ben is gonna give it a go not Gary Coleman. (as of now)

Tough call. Disco Volante took the words off my keyboard. If the glass is half full and believe the Pats have a shot at a bye, you're rooting for a Steelers loss. If the glass is half empty and more concerned about the Pats simply making it to the playoffs, then you want to eliminate another potential wildcard team, the Colts - and therefore are rooting for them to lose.

How about I root for an extremely physical game that goes for a full fifteen minutes of overtime, that should work.

This the first time the Colts and Steelers have met up since that game that still makes us cry. (wide right, total choke job the works)

Kinda ironic now the Steelers are sitting pretty looking at a bye week and the Colts are now fighting for a wildcard.

Good times friends good times.

Let's get this started. I am extremely pumped about this one. The 85 Bears oops I mean 08 Steelers are supposed to roll us.

This is a game even most Colts fans have marked as a loss but its our toughest for the rest of the season by far. (as is Titans in final game but its in our house and who knows if they rest some of their ex Colts players for that one)

Nothing was worse for Colts fans than in that playoff game against the Steelers (about 15 years ago?) - When the Colts QB Harbaugh threw a hail mary in the end zone on the final play of the game only to have it bounce right out of the WRs hands after it bounced into them and fall hopelessly to the ground, end of game.

Agree. That was heartbreaking. But, the 95 season was unexpected. 9-7 and one play from being in the SB? It was amazing that year. I loved that team.

Harbaugh was the man.

We have had some heartbreaking moments against the Steelers.

Colts for sure, I hate both teams but I'm still holding out hope for the #2 seed albiet its probably a long shot.

Any Pats fan using his brain (vs. his heart) will be pulling for the Colts. Pats need Pitt to lose as many games as possible so that the NEP have a realistic shot at the #2 seed.

The Colts/Pats H2H game means nothing, as other stated, they are only competing for a WC spot at this point whereas the Pats are rightfully gunning for division crown & first round bye.

If NE ends up out of the division and in the WC hunt, IMO, the tiebreaker with the Colts doesn't matter as if the Pats can't win the AFCE it means that they simply aren't that good and wouldn't make any noise in the playoffs anyway.

OMG that was the Colts first ever taste of any kind of success in Indy and that really sucked, it was just laying on Baily's chest for him to close his arms. It still makes me want to vomit..

Ben practiced today and is officially 'probable' for the game so looks like he'll play. That makes this one of the better games of the weekend. Too early to tell which team losing will benefit us in the long run so I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the game. That is, if the Pats win. If the Pats lose I probably won't watch any football till next week.

The Giants-Eagles game will also be very good.

Yes! Great games all Sunday. I can't wait.

Yeah Ben should/will play. I would rather he play anyway.

This should be one of the best games of the year. A real gem for those who are not just fans of their favorite team, but fans of football and the NFL.
