It's easy, and only takes a few moments. Both have looked VERY, VERY impressive in their rookie years and I believe they will only get more knowledgeable and better. What do you guys think about Mayo and Guyton as our future ILB's. Elite?
Clearly Elite!!!
I mean we have so many big games, playoffs on the line, where either Mayo or Guyton made key game winning plays, great open field tackles to stop a possible winning drive, knocking down passes to RBs and TEs, game changing INTs and forcing fumbles. Yes, we now have sufficient information to truly project the duo as NFL elites!!!
All kidding aside, I like the youth corps. Don't forget young backup OLB Woods and rookies Crable, Redd and Ruud (IR) as other talent to be developed.

I wish we could see what Crable could do, but he's gotta earn his time.
Maybe there is more to learn at the OLB position. The #6 pick in
the 2008 draft has been no ball of fire.

This morning, I asked a guy I work with (Jets fan) if they'd had a first-round pick this year. The look on his face was priceless.
As BB might say, let's not put them in Canton just yet.
Seriously, though, I do agree with Pioli on one thing--they should count their lucky stars Guyton was still available as a FA, and he definitely should have been drafted.
Belichick detailed many of Guyton’s strengths, lauding his growth as a player. Later, while answering a different question, Belichick pulled out one of his old favorite lines. “Going back to Guyton for a bit, let’s not fit him for the [Hall of Fame] jacket just yet,” he said.
At this point Guyton doesn't even play on running downs. But, yes, pioli did very well at ILB.
