News Flash:

The Colts are looking like Dog doo-doo, that team is going no-where. I think you're angry because of it and you know it. That team is a shell of what is once was. If they are lucky enough to get a wildcard, it's a one and DONE for them.

No today like most weeks this year I am feeling pretty ******* fantastic thank you.
I also don't let footbalL control my moods but this forum is always good for a lift of the spirits.

OMG THE COLTS ARE SO LUCKY OMG WE SHOT OURSELVES IN THE FOOT OMG OUR COACH FORGOT HIS UGLY HOODIE

Yeah Pats fans were not walking the streets this past weekend pumping their chests like last season for sure.

Oh let's hear it again WE ARE SOOO LUCKY.

Man, I just saw a few mousy Pats fans walking around. None of them said boo last night.

Like I said I just came here to see the responses of these guys and I was not disappointed. Classy as always.

Yeah, you know what the Colts showed me last night? A NE loss.

You guys simply cannot admit the Colts beat you.

Anyone can justify any loss by saying "they didn't beat us, we beat ourselves".

The Colts don't look like a SB caliber team this year so far but the AFC is wide open and no one looks all that great. NE looks mediocre at best.

The Pats now have 3 losses, two of them complete blowouts and your wins came against some pretty bad teams.

You keep making the excuses, meanwhile the Colts have beaten you 4 out of 5. I know, I know, they were all just luck, or the refs gave the game to the Colts or the Pats beat themselves though right?

Well, way to brag about a win that could have gone either way with one or two plays against the Patriots with Brady and their top 3 RBs out yet the Colts' defense got spanked by Matt Cassell and Ben Jarvus Green Ellis. If Brady was in there, the Pats probably win by 30 points.

The Pats may not be the best team out there, but the Colts definitely didn't prove they are any better.

The Pats have one major advantage. Unlike the Colts, the Pats can run the ball and stop the run. The fact that the Colts can do neither probably means their shot for the playoffs is more of an uphill battle.

Very Nice Rob.I always really wonder how long you have been watching football.

Moss is just mad. He came to NE for da ringz.

I suggest your Boyz get their ***** in gear and start playin' - You get a pass in the AFC with Brady out, so make the most of it.

He'll be back next year pissed off and looking for vengeance.

Yeah. Some things I couldn't understand in all the post game threads were people saying Indy is still terrible and Manning was off.

Face it, Manning shredded us last night. We had all those long drives and it seemed he was barely on the field, but he converted on just about every possible opportunity and he found every open reciever. When there wasn't anyone open, he avoided the mistakes. That was a vintage Manning performance even if the stats aren't eye-popping.

As far as the Colts overall, their defense and running game look like weaknesses, but it also did back in 2006 and look how that turned out. You can't ever count that team out, not with #18 as their QB. They're 4-4, ONE game behind us. You can talk about how they should be 1-7 all you want, but good teams find a way to win ballgames.

I am not going to hold my breath on Brady coming back pissed and fully healthy until I really see it.

And it does not appear that Cassel is hurting you guys much. In fact I see a much more balanced offense from you guys.

Getting a pass because of Brady? Please.

It's football. We all get injuries.

Yea, Ok dude. Lets see how well your team would be doing without Manning.

What are you saying, Brady is "just another guy"?

Pure comedy! :singing:

Well, obviously a lot longer than roscothunder. But then again, why would a Pats fan start watching football last week with Brady being around for seven years.

I don't want to take anything away from the Colts' win, but the game could have gone either way. I don't think most Pats fans trash talked in this thread. For a Colt fan to come here and act like the Colts won by three TDs vs. a full strength Brady led Patriots is just stupid.

Both teams have their flaws. The Pats are still in a better position for a playoff run because they still lead their division even if that lead is shared with two other teams in the division.

I do feel that last night's game could have gone either way. Other Patriots losses to the Colts were not that way, but last night was different. Sorry, but if Gaffney does hold onto the pass, the Pats probably win the game. The Pats lost by 3 points and that catch would have been 4 more points for the Pats. He didn't make it and the Colts made the plays they had to.

That was the difference in the game. It wasn't like the Colts outplayed the Patriots. It was a fairly evenly matched game and the Colts made the plays when they needed to and the Pats didn't.

I think we would be worse off with Sorgi. In fact I know we would. We may be winless with Sorgi right now. I don't even want to think about Sorgi.

I think Cassel has done a fine job this season.

With all this being said it's hard to predict the rest of the year the way our season has gone.

We have a few things going for us though. Tiebreakers will be everything. Two of our losses so far are from the NFC and we have a tiebreaker over Baltimore. Jags keep losing and have 5 AFC losses, they are out. No idea what to think about Denver and SD but whoever does not win that crap division is likely not going to be a WC IMO.

We need to watch out for the AFC East big time with that tight race in order to get a spot. One of the 3 in that division we have to edge out if it comes down to that.

We just needs wins overall which is obvious.

Welcome to a Patriots fan worst nightmare - Difference is that we are living your Sorgi nightmare and ya know what? I'm OK with it - This team is pretty good.

I think Peyton played well, your healthy, you got your running back, you got your defensive player of the year back - You're a little light at the CB position, but hell not as bad a our Patchwork DB situation.

But after all that, we played well - we stayed toe to toe all night and had a chance to win. This is MINUS our First Ballot Hall of Fame QB, 1st-2nd and 3rd Running back (Rookie FREE AGENT RUNING THE BALL), our SS that is one of the heartbeats of the team (Rodney), and a guy under center that was starting in his 7th NFL game (and actually his 7th game in 10 years).

So think about that, plug the names in from the Colts that you would be missing if you were in our shoes, Manning/Sanders/Adai/Dawson/Rhodes - How do you think your team would do?

Do you think that team could lose to a Brady led Patriot team by 3 points........in Foxboro?

Wow, the Pats are so heroic. It must be tough having injuries. I mean, the Colts never have injuries.

Yeah um our QB had two knee surgeries and was on antibiotics the first several weeks of the year and looked pale and thin and you knew he was hurting.

Our starting RB got hurt. Our third RB is on IR.

Our two biggest DTs are gone. One did drugs and one retired. We have been replacing them with castoffs.

Our o line has been patchwork central for the first several games of the year. Lilja is still out and who knows when he comes back or if he does. We have had rookies at guard for most of the year.

Sanders missed most of the year so far.

One corner has been out. The other is on IR. And their main backup besides Jennings is hurting.

LB injuries. Hagler was on the PUP and Keiaho was out for the Pats game.

WR injuries but they have played through it. (Wayne)

Clark missed a game.

Am I missing anyone? And I don't use it as an excuse most of the time either.

The Colts injuries don't compare to the Patriots list for last nights game - That's all I'm talking about -I'm not concerned with your season and the games you have played, they are irrelevant in this discussion - I'm talking about LAST NIGHT.

GO ahead and answer the question I asked before:

I'm not making excuses, I'm a fan of the team - not part of it.

If Manning went down for the year, that Colt team might, might win 5 games max. Maybe...........Keep it up, I'm waiting to get the word to start
unloading the corn, outdoor plumbing and Goober Goofy Manning jokes any minute now, keep it coming...........

OK, let's see now. Mmmmmm, we're 5-3, you're 4-4, you have Goober and we don't have Brady, yet......we're still up one game on you. Stupid freakin midwestern inbreds...............

Yup, classy Pats fans.

The last game of the season will be an exhibition game for TEN as they likely will have everything clinched, so that's an automatic win for IND. But who knows, Fisher might treat it as a playoff game and realize his Super Bowl chances are much greater if Indy is out of the playoffs, but I doubt it.

Fischer owes Dungy one from last year, the collusion bros part 2.

Now it looks like Indy will face Leftwich instead of Roethlisberger, further reenforcing my point that this "IS their lucky year"
