I dont have much analysis of this game. A strange game ,just didnt work out for many reasons. hard to blame anyone having a bad game. Mad some mistakes and cost us the game . S**t happens. 99 % of time the other teams imploded, for a change it was us. i chalk it up as "one of those games".
Without my starting QB, 1st ,2nd and 3rd string RB, starting veteran safety i will take it(albeit a hard one).
Put this kind of injuries on any team even with this schedule, things would be worse.

Next 3 games bills, jets @ miami will decide our season. I see all 3 games going either way and surprisingly fish are the biggest test IMO.Really wished bills had won today they we had to just battle it out with them. The win gives jets some confidence.
Lets hope todays performance on D and o line continues in the next 3 games.

Very well said.

I think your right. The next 3 games will decide the remainder of the season. I will be very happy with 2 - 3. Pretty certain we can beat the Jest again and the Bills will be a hard but good win.....and I also think your right about the fish......we have just had bad luck with them......

Well we shall see. Long week ahead of us to prepare for the Bills.

GO PATS!!

We also still control our own destiny for a first round bye. Only a half game behind Pittsburgh and they come to Gilette.

The rest of November is extremely crucial and here's how it lines up. IMO a division title requires 4-0 sweep in these games because Miami and Buffalo have extremely easy schedules the rest of the way. The good thing is the Pats control their destiny, it could be as good as another division title and #2 seed or a WC birth.

Pats
11/9 vs Buf 1:00 PM
11/13 vs NYJ 8:15 PM
11/23 @ Mia 1:00 PM
11/30 vs Pit 4:15 PM

Nov. games for the rest of AFC East:

Mia
vs Sea
vs Oak
vs Pats
@ Stl

Buf
@ Pats
vs Cle
@ KC
vs SF

NYJ
vs Stl
@ Pats
@ Ten
vs Den

Lets just hope that this doesnt turn into another 02 season. It was very painful to beat Miami, only to lose the division anyway. Based off of the jets Nov, I say stick a fork in em. They wont make the playoffs. Bills are good, but inconsistant. Miami is like the roach that just wont die.

I think we beat all three, but I don't know about Pitt.

I think Miami will be the tough game, since we suck down there except for last yr.. I think we could beat Pitt at home the next 3 games are the key, seeing Miami's schedule makes me nervous about the fish.. I think the fish could make some noise.. Buffalo could fold by next week if we beat them

I would change the word "could" to "will". If the Pats can't win the

AFC East, I don't expect them to be in the playoffs. Buffalo appears

to be wilting. Bret Favre can put points on the board and will do so

if he can pass without any pressure. Old friend Joey Porter is licking

his chops looking forward to kicking the hell out of Matt Cassel again.

I can't see how the Pats can go very far without a pass rush and

having to settle for field goals instead of touucdowns.

I'll be at the Buffalo game to root them on.

i would say the next 4 games....but i agree with the next 3 also ;)

i havent told my wife that im gonna be at gillette so much in the month of november..... oh well !

- bill - sunday
- jets - thurs
- pittsburgh - 10 days later

WOW

Given the rest of the division's schedules, we could be playing for the division lead the next 3 games. Heck we could have a 4-way tie on 11/23....maybe even 12/28.

I've felt for a while the next three games would be the most crucial for the Pats this season. In recent seasons, the regular season was a battle for a first round bye and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. That made games against other division leaders - the Colts, Steelers, and either the Chargers or Broncos - the most important games of the regular season.

Since the first quarter of the first game of the year, winning the division no longer was a given. The primary competition was no longer other division leaders, but instead was the teams within the division. Now it's all about winning the division, which makes the in-division games the most important ones. While games against the Colts and Steelers may be more compelling to the networks, the games against the Bills, Jets and Dolphins are doubly important to the Pats. Each win against these teams counts double because it's not only a win for the Pats, but it's also one less win for their direct competition for the division title.

fins schedule seems the most favorable right now....
