Everyone should go back and read Reiss. Read Vince's opinion. Moretespnsen was not there...he does have good connections (read: media whores), but he is also a blowhard. Moreover, his wording is clearly meant to sensationalize.

No, it means that they are upset that you win all the time. All the greatest teams in history have had the media go after them after they get tired of watching them kick butt for years. The Yankees, the Cowboys the Steelers back in the day - etc. The whining and refusal to admit that any of our players or coaches could be wrong is laughable.

I can remember people get attacked if they thought that Wilforks conduct was out of line with the Losemen hit, and now reports surface that Wilfork admits the hit was cheap, and the homers come out claiming Mort is an idiot and lier. If Mort said something good about the pats the board would claim he was the greatest writer ever.

A little lesson on reading comprehension. If the text on article is quoted by the author, it is from a person other than the author, for example Wilfork. If a statement is not in quotes, it is the author's impression or summary of a statement, not the speaker's actual statement.

Whether you read in Spanish, French, English or Italian, it works the same way. Wilfork gave a public statement, the quoted phrases, and now you have an author's impression of the statement completely contradicting that statement.

Patslifer, if you want to support go your whining fan theory, search ESPN for Greg Easterbrook Patriots articles and explain how that is neutral, unbiased reporting. Explain why the ESPN Ombudsman slammed the ESPN network as a whole for the anti-Patriots reporting. You may also theorize why Bill Simmons, a New England sports fan, disappeared for much of last season when ESPN was all anti-Patriots reporting all the time. Better yet, provide some factual support for your crazy opinions. People may actually be inclined to debate the point rather than insulting you.

If you cannot explain the tone of those articles and understand why fans here distrust the ESPN reporting as a whole, consider returning to Italy and embracing the local variant of football instead of the NFL variety.
