Good stuff, thank you. Mock drafts in September, the world has really changed...

Good call -- I'll add that in.

Updated the lists November 1st and added 9 new mock drafts. Some interesting choices, quite a few names that are being thrown around here. People have us drafting anywhere from #6 to #32 at this point.

Percy Harvin??

Good Lord.

Liking your Mock fella, Cody at 22 makes a ton of sense, although I'd be disappointed if we passed on Orakpo or Maualuga.

Some intriguing picks too, Tyson Jackson as a top 10 prospect is controversial, DeMarcus Granger being the first DT off the board is another.

If Rey Rey was on the board I'd definitely grab him, but I'd probably take Cody over Orakpo at this point. It'd be nice to package some picks and get both of them.

If we can not extend Wilfork, then I would take Cody over everybody and anybody, except a pass rushing demon off the edge that can play OLB in the 3-4.

I'm beginning to wonder if maybe the edge is not an upgradeable area when it comes to pass rushing. I was on the Groves bandwagon this past April....however, AD and Vrabel are both good pass rushers. Granted, Vrabel has not had the same production this season and AD was being asked to help in coverage a lot the first quarter of the season...

Then I wonder, OK, what about a DL who can generate pressure from the inside, but its hard to complain about Sey & Jarvis Green. Wright has also generated pressure in the nickel packages.

So what's the reason our pass rush isn't always the most consistent? I really can't wrap my head around it. For the most part, I'd say our pass rush is at least above average as it is, so I hesitate even referring to this as a "problem" or a "need", but as the Giants proved in February, an elite pass rush can win championships. And our pass rush is not at that level.

Those guys that can hold up against the run inside in the 3-4 AND generate pass rush are tough to come by.

I know it won't happen, but I'd love to see a front seven of Seymour, Wilfork, Cody, Warren up front, and with Guyton, Mayo, and AD as linebackers.

Updated 1/15 with a couple new mocks, and lots of updates. Lots of DJ Moore and Brandon Spikes out there.

apparently the chances of us NOT drafting a cb or lb in the 1st round are amazingly slim...

and to think that bb has only spent a 1st rounder on a LB/CB ONCE since coming to NE is kinda funny

Seen quite a few Clint Sintim's and Brian Cushing's too myself.

If it is going to continue to be updated weekley then we should put a sticky on this baby!

Yeah, I'll get it updated as often as I can.

Nice job, man. Some interesting... and odd... draft ideas out there.

Updated 1/24 with 10 new mock drafts, lots of updates, and our first William Beatty sighting.

Draft Tek seems to always have the Patriots reaching badly for

their draft picks.

Their software is designed to address need, or at least the programmer's perception of need. :ugh:
