Also on Friday, the Colts released their third and final injury report of the week, with running back Clifton Dawson (concussion), Hughes (ankle), linebacker Freddy Keiaho (knee), running back Dominic Rhodes (ankle), tight end Tom Santi (shoulder), wide receiver Reggie Wayne (knee), Hayden (knee/hamstring), running back Joseph Addai (hamstring) and safety Bob Sanders (knee/ankle) listed as questionable and wide receiver Roy Hall (knee) listed as out.

Dawson, Hall, Santi and Hughes did not participate in practice Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and Keiaho did not practice Thursday or Friday. Rhodes practiced Thursday and Friday.

Wayne, who missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, has started 88 consecutive games, the longest active streak among NFL wide receivers. He practiced on a limited basis Friday.

“Reggie has not missed very much practice time in the seven years I’ve been here,” Dungy said. “That was a little unusual, but he says he thinks he’ll be able to go. He’s a guy who has lined up for us just about every week. I think had we had a normal work week he probably would have practiced on Thursday after a Sunday game and would have just taken one day off.

“With the kind of rushed week, it was better to rest him both days.”

Oh how I wish Morris was playing. After seeing what he did against Denver, I have a feeling that he would have been salivating at the fact that we are playing the Colts.

God i hope its not much of a tough game. Hope we play well and not much mistakes. GO PATS!!!! Im pretty psyched!!!

I guess Crable is working on his shin/legs

With Jordan listed as questionable rather than doubtful, it makes me wonder if we'll see him play, especially given the current lack of depth at RB.

I still think the Colts injury report is scarier than the Pats.

The only one of their top 4 CBs (if you count Marlin Jackson) who practiced more than one day this week was Tim Jennings. Hayden and Hughes missed another practice today. There are conflicting reports if Hayden practiced at all this week, but even if he practiced Wednesday and hasn't the last two days doesn't speak well to his availability (it sounds like he gave it a shot on Wednesday and just wasn't ready to come back). It looks like Keiaho will miss the game and Dungy is optimistic, but not confident that Wayne will play. Knowing the Colts' history of optimism on injuries, I wouldn't bet on Wayne playing.

No Morris sucks. But maybe he can pull a LaMont Jordan and play even without the week of practice. Adding Jordan to the mix now would be advantageous anyway since he is like a bowling ball and should be able to pound on the smallish d-line of the Colts.

He practiced all week. I think he will play.

The guys on WBCN post game show also said their moles said that Morris almost came back last week and might play this week. I wonder if Belichick held him out as a precaution like he did with Jordan a few weeks back.

I would bet Jordan plays in the game (how much probably depends on how well the passing attack works against the Dolts). It is also good to see Morris even at the doubtful level as it means his return may not be that far off.

Has Crable been on the injury list prior to this? Frankly, I stopped looking for him after a few games when he was not included in the game day roster. I still would like to see what he can do in a game.

He hurt his shin I think two weeks ago and didn't practice last week or this one.

Is Crable's shin injury really a calf injury, but doesn't have any so they to call a shin injury??

Colts seek to replace Jackson at nickel back | IndyStar.com | The Indianapolis Star

Tim Jennings is expected to start at one corner, Kelvin Hayden (knee/hamstring) is questionable at the other, but the Colts have given Jennings, Keiwan Ratliff, Antoine Bethea and Melvin Bullitt practice time in the slot this week.

Bethea and Bullitt are safeties. Ratliff has been terminated and twice re-signed in the past six weeks, most recently Thursday.

Dante Hughes, who ordinarily would serve as the third cornerback, although not necessarily the one assigned to the slot, missed practice all week with a ligament injury in his foot and ankle.

"Game-time decision," Hughes said. "Right now I'm pretty optimistic though. Keep taking treatment, and see if you can deal with the pain."

Wayne is the team's leading receiver with 38 catches for 521 yards and four touchdowns, and durability is one of his many assets. He hasn't missed a game since 2001, his rookie season. No one could remember the last time he missed practice.

"Seven years," Wayne said after the workout. "I'm ready to go."

Cute.

Next, Arnold Swartzenegger will be making fun of his skinny "girly mon" calves.
