Someone let that new coach know that the game is over, done, finished, end o story and no crying or whining about what was or was not called will change that outcome.

He needs to prepare his team for the next game and not the distractions that are now about to follow this inane action.

The Pats did have some calls go against them too. Most notably the refs blowing the whistle before Cassel took a knee at the end of the game. It was a poorly called game for both sides.

Haslett's vying for the HC position so he's trying to deflect responsibility. That's never a good thing for the long term success of a team. Good teams play through flags, find ways to win, don't blame the referees, and don't publicize things like this.

It actually wasn't a perfect game -- the Pats got flagged for holding. It was happenstance that the result of the play made declining the penalty the right call.

The Rams did win a Superbowl, I believe in 2000. They thought they were going to repeat in 2001 and become a dynasty, the Pats spoiled that though. That's where the infamous line "a dynasty is born tonight" uttered by a rams player comes from. I forget who exactly said it though.

Anyways this tape is just petty. So the Pats didn't get called for as many penalties as the Rams. So what, that wasn't the difference in the game.
