This is gonna be good. I'm liking all of the fights on the card and the main event is probly the 4th best fight of the night!

I think Silva will TKO Cote.

The most intriguing fight is Koschek Alves. The original line on that fight had Koscheck at +400. I think it was a mistake but if I had the ability to I would have laid money down on that line for sure.

And am I seeing it right that Sherk might not even be on the tv card?!?! I love Sherk, he's the only athlete I've ever honestly believed got a false positive.

Farmy, thoughts?

That had to be a mistake. Koscheck will inevitablely take him down and GNP for the win.

That fight was sick

WAR SHERK!

**** all of these dumb fans booing...

What does War Sherk mean?

Good fight. Fast paced.

That was really brutal for everyone involved.

Another reason why I can't stand fans that boo. I realize they paid good money, but this stuff happens, what's the point in booing?

Props to Cote, but watching Silva is like poetry in motion.

A lot of the people that score tickets for big fights like this don't even know what the **** is going on. They are there because it's cool to be there. It pisses me off.

I've been to two UFC events and both times I was floored by how terrible everyone around me was.

what a crappy ending, to what was looking like a good fight building

the shop i work for up here in quebec, sponsored cote (mma fight shop) so i really wanted to see cote score the upset, i'm happy he became the first guy to take silva past the 2nd round, but i know silva was winning the fight, he had landed better shots, but damn, cote was taking it, if only he could have gone longer and got lucky....

oh and holy crap, i have a whole new level of respect for josh koschek,....that was an amazing performance despite the loss.

Sorry I didn't post beforehand. I love Sherk as well, his hands are so FAST! I'm in awe every time I see him fight. His combos are great as well. Loved that fight.

The Silva fight was odd... I though Silva seemed to be playing a game most of the time. I don't understand, however, the flack that they're getting for that fight. People were saying it was a flop and an embarrassment to the UFC. How??? It was a fluke accident, it's not like it was Elite XC playing games and swtiching main events to help their overhyped star. Cote blew his ACL (which made me cringe) trying to fight, how can he be blamed for that?

Also, read this if you want a laugh:

Is Anderson Silva as good as his hype? - MMA - Yahoo! Sports

This Iole fella also wrote an article after the fights saying that Silva was acting like an idiot during the fight. WTF? Nothing better than a balding fatso typing behind a keyboard criticizing a world-class athlete at the top of his game. It's like, as you guys mentioned in here, going to the fights and seeing fans boo. Nothing makes me more furious than that. Myself and my trainer were cornermen for a buddy who fought in Mass. MMA event. People were booing there too, it was disgraceful. And the one who were booing were just drunk tubby schlubs who hadn't worked in years if ever. My trainer's wife was asking them if they perhaps wanted to try their hand in the ring since they found their entertainment for the night so objectionable. Idiots.

Oh yeah, and I would've taken Alves in that fight. There's something about that guy, he's going to be big I think.
