Mangini is doing a press conference, a writer brings up the fact Mangini won't list specifics of injuries. Its the 10/24 press conference, fun starts at 6:12 in the video. The PR Guy tries too step in and gets a verbal slap from the writer, interesting.

New York Jets Multimedia

Current on front page, but if not, listings are on right

For once, someone other then the Patriots, who I should say are used as an example of a team that does list Hamstring injuries during the questioning

Seems like the reporter believes he's an actual reporter whose job is to serve the public interest.

He doesn't know yet that he's really just a glorified stenographer.

Or he was told, "make this weeks story something other than 'as the Brett turns' soap opera"

haha, great find... I love how the guy asking the question really gives it to the Jets' PR rep.

did they take it down :(

Looks like they pulled it again. Must not like the bad press...or getting laughed at.

Yeah, if anyone has a working link, please post it. This sounds hilarious.

Profootball Talk ran it last night so it's not like pulling it does any good.

Bottom line is that Mangini seems to have his own interpretation of NFL Rules. Do Jets fans feel this is Gamesmanship or Cheating?

We'll see - but there's no denying that Goodell wants his rules followed to a T - lest how else can he's doing his duty as NFL Commissioner to ensure Las Vegas and Mafia Bookies have the most accurate information?

And that's exactly why the reporter is deluded. He should be asking the question of Goodell if he were a real reporter.

I am the last to defend the Jets, but lets get real here. Exact same conversation between BB and reporter and the title of the thread is reporter gets hammered by BB.

Your point? It happened to Mangini, and we hate him.

Too true, Mangini is a rat who left his boss high and dry after taking him in and turning him into the coach that he is. Fricking jerk.

What about toe-related to foot.. like (Calvin) Pace said he hurt his toe. Can you verify that?

I can verify what I put on the injury report.

Once again, why can't you say toe? What's the philosophical reason for that?

We're 2 1/2 years into this process...

Okay, I've read the text, but I would love to actually see this. Apparently I was about 4 hours late.

Anybody have a working link to this?
