Sammy Morris is expected to miss two-to-three weeks with a knee injury, according to NFL.com's Adam Schefter.

LaMont Jordan is also considered unlikely to play this week.

I knew I wasn't going to like the news on Morris.

Oh crap! Just as when I was hoping we would be able to get some consistency going...

WHAT ??? nooooooo.... why can't we catch a breath for one week ? not to mention, both my fantasy RB are probably out this week

Jeez, at this rate, Russ Hochstein could end up being the Pats' RB by midseason.

I am hoping he will be back by the Colts game. I think if he and Jordan are playing that game, we should crush the Colts.

Morris expected to be back reasonably soon this season?

That's GOOD news, as far as I'm concerned.

I agree with you, but this still SUCKS. d%#*!@t, the injury bug is kicking this team's arse this season.

Ugh. All these injuries is reminding me of 03 and 04 ... which maybe isn't a bad thing ...

remember all those threads questioning BB for carrying 5 RB and claiming that was too many.

BJGE gets another chance...why not!

Denver always has backs come out of nowhere, maybe it is our turn?

Geez. It's going to be smurf-ball with Green-Ellis and Faulk toting the rock, and lots of short flips to Welker. Evans certainly isn't much of a ball carrier. I haven't checked, did we bring anyone else aboard lately?

I was THRILLED when they signed Jordan as the 5th RB. But looks like even 5 isn't enough ... question is, do they now bring in another body at RB?

Yeah I'm with you, I'm actually happy with this news.

Could have been and almost expected a lot more serious.

Really? You're happy Morris will miss the Colts and possibly the Bills game? I could understand "not totally devastated" or "could be worse", but "happy" is not an emotion I associate with this outcome.

I did not expect him to play this week, at all. I was fully confident he'd miss time.

I was expecting 4-6 weeks/season. Instead, I come on and see he's only out 2-3 games.

Of course I'm not "happy" he's out obviously, I'm "happy" he's still going to be playing relatively soon.

Just give it to HEATH!

2008 is feeling like 2003 all over again with the injuries - except worse because Brady's out on top of it all.

WTF, you couldn't possibly have a deeper backfield than we have, yet somehow they ALL manage to get injured. This is bad news, sure he'll be back in 3 weeks, but then what?? I'm sure he'll just injure something else. Who knows how this affects the Rams game but looking at the Colts, we could've pounded that defense with a healthy stable of RB's and now it looks like its just BJE and Faulk for that game. This is NOT good news

Me too! I feared much worse. When we stocked up with 5+ RBs this summer, I applauded the decision, and now we could maybe even use one more!

When does the Morris is made out of glass thread start? People were wondering why we keep 5 RB this season, I am beginning to wonder why we didn't keep six.

That stinks about Sammy missing ANY time.

I really hope Jordan can get out there to knock the dust off this week. He and/or Morris needs to play against Indy.
