The sports media can't enough of bashing Belichick. I love how angry he makes them by denying them what they feel is their absolute right to know everything that goes on with his team. His passive aggressive dealings with these dopes makes me titter with glee.

Basically, since he was "running up the score" and "trying to get a shut out," BB is the reason Harrison's leg is injured.

Is Rodney Harrison hurt because Bill Belichick wanted a shut out? - Shutdow... - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

ESPN will be off and running with this one!

Gimme a break! Did they even look to see how the injury happened? No one even touched him. It looked like his leg caught in the turf, twisted awkwardly and down he went. What, once we get up by a certain number of points, BB is supposed to instruct his team to take a knee on every play? Or take out all his starters? Is he the only coach in the NFL who tries to score as many points as he can while keeping the other team from scoring as many as he can? Geez, pardon me, but I thought that's how you win the game. Idiots.

Who is Chris Chase (writer from Yahoo) and what are his credentials??

Is BB supposed to sit everybody down, where do you make the choice, very soon, you run out of players.

Sorry, football players play football - injuries happen, no way can you shield or protect players, that is a slippery slope.

what a delusional fool. It's never ceases to amaze me how asinine some people really are.

1) a douche.

2) likely nothing, except a lifetime of watching sports and being fat, from-the-couch analyst. But I don't know for sure.

I heard BB was responsible for 9/11 too. And there were rumors about the earthquake in San Francisco in 1989, also.

Wasn't Cutler and the rest of the Broncos starters still in the game? Why isn't he blaming Shanahan for keeping Culter in with an obvious finger injury in a lost cause of the game?

Really sorry that they would even call that journalism, what a crock. If anything, knowing Belichick's respect for Shanahan and knowing Shanahan had never been shut out as a coach, I felt he was more likely to back off on D.

Fixed your post for you. :p

He got hurt on the last play of the THIRD QUARTER!

It's not like they should've been pulling out starters at that point. Ridiculous.

Yeah, why did BB even have ANY players out on the field. He should have sat everybody down and let Denver play themself. That way, NO ONE gets hurt.

God, are we turning into a p*ssy country or what. It's Football Mr. Chase, not chess.

I didn't read the article and don't intend to.

So much media , so little talent.

If you have the patience to read some of the responses to that 'article', you will find that more than half of those readers don't need any rhyme or reason to hate us and despise everything about BB.

So, it doesn't matter whether Harrison got hurt on the field or when about to sit down on the bench or when he was getting out of his bathroom. It is all BB's fault. :bricks:

I have learnt to read all these pieces and responses with wry amusement. :)

In Cutlers case apparently there was no choice as Ramsey has gone on IR and believe Denver had only one back up QB.

Really, we should have let every sit down the whole game. After all, the Broncos beat themselves, right?

As others have said, it's a ridiculous premise. If Harrison wasn't on the field, someone else might have gotten that injury. Would BB be responsible for that too? It's just a freak accident.

This team doesn't have a whole second backup team that they run out there when they're blowing someone out, most of the starters are still going to be playing, as they would be on any NFL team. Most teams if they're up big, maybe they sit down the quarterback, receivers, and running back, but unless there's an injury I don't really think there's a strong recedent for sitting down boatloads of defenders. This guy just wanted to write a lazy article bashing BB, not hard to do.

34-0, My opinion is that maybe he should have been out of the game, actully all the old and injury-prone guys should have been out. That's why we have back-ups. Can't blame him for the injury because it was just a freak thing that happened.

And in relating to this topic, if that Azzhole Belichick started Cassel against Kansas City instead of Brady ,Tom might have still been playing today :rolleyes:.

I say fire Belichick and hire a coach who was a former gypsy who read crystal balls before ...

From the article:
"It's a devastating blow for the suspect New England secondary, as rookie first-round draft choice Brandon Merriweather will now likely have to step into a starting role."

Duh. Brandon's not a rookie. The guy had spot duty in 16 games last year. I stopped reading right there. Clearly the author doesn't know what he's talking about.
