As you probably know, the Chargers gave up their second-round draft pick in 2009 so they could draft Jacob Hester (whose only contribution in the SD game was to cough up a fumble ).
Well, after seven weeks, the standings look like this (ranked by SOS in each group):
No wins: DET, CIN
1 win: KC, SEA
2 wins: SF, MIA, OAK, STL, CLE
3 wins: HOU, SD, NO, MIN
So, currently, the Chargers have the #11 pick in the first round. Because of the way the draft works, that gives the Pats the #42 pick overall in 2009, plus a fifth-rounder in 2008, for the #69 pick overall.
