We are one of five teams with a winning record in the AFC. We have a solid chance for a wild card and still a good chance for the division.
----------------------------------------------------
OFFENSE
RB: We have a committee. When either Jordan or Morris comes back, this position will be an improvement over last year.
WR: We have all we need, just about the best 1-2 in the AFC.
TE: This is the weakness of the offense. We need more, especially in the run game.
OL: I think we're fine. Neal, Levior and the three probowler are our starters. We have Britt, Hochstein and Yates as backups. Hochstein is also the 3rd TE.

DEFENSE
DL: We need Green back, but the line is still one the best, when the DC lets them loose.
LB: Solid and improving. We are integrating the three youngsters: Woods, Mayo, and Guyton. The three veterans are fine, although Bruschi has clearly lost a step. Crable needs time to develop.
S : Meriweather and Sanders are enough, although I would like to Lynch and/or get Harrison back.
CB: We still don't know what quality we have beyond Hobbs. O'Neal is OK and a great pickup, as was Lewis Sanders. Wilhite is still an unknown. Richardson could help. Wheatley needs time to develop.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Coverage teams are much better this year. Hobbs, Welker and Faulk are fine returners. Slater could become a returner. He is a plus on the defensive units.

All good points. You left out QB, to which I would say that Cassel is looking better, but he has a lot to work on. You also left off kicker (Who has been playing INCREDIBLE) and punter (I was happy to see Hanson get some punts inside the 20... I guess he's been working on that problem).

At RB, Faulk as been incredible as well and Green-Ellis looks like a decent backup when Morris/Jordon need a break. I'm not overly excited about the thought of him being the starter though.

Speaking of which--as weird as this sounds, I almost think that BB intentionally took the delay of game penalty on one of Hanson's punts.

I don't think that's weird. Coaches do this all the time to give their punter some more room.

All I can add is how GOOD it was to see improvements in everybody's level of play- last night was very encouraging all around:rocker: The only big downer was Rodney. Even then, how great to see Meriweather step right up :)

If they continue improving we should be looking good just at the right time:D

Within the division we're looking good for a WC at least-I wouldn't mind seeing Buffalo start to run out of gas or get their * handed to them by somebody though. They're due:D
