I enjoyed his play and was glad he was a part of the Pats.. He may have lost a step or 2 but still was a leader that we needed.. Espically in 03 when the whole Milloy fiasco took place.. You always say lightning never strikes twice in the same place, but lets hope Brady does not have happen again to what has happened to this great player in Pats history.. Thanks for the memories Rodney..

Have they announced that he is done for the year?

No but it seems like obituary time....

Very sad. Rodney is not just an exceptional player, he is an exceptional man. I wish him well.

Looks like it, especially after seeing Teddy run over and whisper to him.

Bruschi told reporters last night that what they talked about was between Rodney and himself. This is so sad. I read that Rodney, Teddy and Mike V. would have retired if they had won the Super Bowl last year.

Didn't look good. Often when they stabalize a knee like that it's ligament tears. We should probably wait until there is an official announcement, but then again, Bill said last night that "it does not look good". That's about as much info as you can hope to pry from him. I think that Rodaney is done with football. 5 years from now we'll see him on the field...as a zebra :)

Actually, I think he'll make a great coach. A natural leader.

So we are all doctors this morning?

It's not over until Rodney says it's over.

I'll wait until I hear an announcement from him, if one ever comes.

I am with you. I refuse to believe that is it until a move is made. I think someone owes us a break on this one.

I was really proud of my fellow Pats fans when I saw them give him a standing O as he left.

Now If I could just ween them off the Sox...
