To tear down the Pats win and Cassel's good game after the win. Denver has a terrible D, yadda, yadda. Newsflash, if the Denver D was so bad, then isn't this exactly what the Pats should've done? If Brady was in there, then what, we would've scored 80 and then he'd still be bashing the team for running up the score. What a joke. At least Young tried to talk some sense into him, along with inventing some new words (perceptionally?).

i dont know what he said, but i do know that before the game he picked the Pats to win.

so to me, he is saying what alot of people believe.

We all need to remember that this stuff if scripted. Smith was supposed to play the bad cop, but he is a football player and not a sportscaster. He spoke what he felt and like most reasonable men it was respecting the Pats. These clowns that sit deep in the closet like Clayton, King, etc have no idea what real football is all about.

+1. I am NEVER one to go to the negative, but from what I saw of Denver, with a terrible and injured defense and a hurt QB, I don't think this game tells us too much about the Pats.

you have to admit, that defense was BAAADDDD

Denver fielded a defensive unit out there? Say what?

What about our D 5 turnovers only 1 TD from a "high powered" Denver O after last week they stepped up.

Mmmm...I think Emmitt is sorta correct...Denver defense is really baaaaaad...the only thing that was surprising was their offense struggling in this game...

That actually is a very good sign, the defense seems to be adjusting nicely. I meant offensively, sorry should have made that clear.

Emmitt had to offset Young's newfound mancrush on the Patriots.

I'm personally just tired of Tom Jackson. They all but openly admit he's a Pats hater at this point saying he was "voting along party lines" when he picked Denver pre-game and Chris Berman laughed at how pissed he was at half time. He's just a joke at this point.

I never seen Jackson sooo pissed as i did at the halftime analysis then realized his old team denver was getting spanked by the Patriots and thats why he was soooo angry LOL LOL LOL

He probably lost big cash picking the donkeys hahahaha

to me, this is what you should have done vs their terrible D

i think sd pissed NE off enough to do just that, so awesome

thank god this game was in NE

Well, both guys got their brains knocked around a bunch....anybody surprised they make up new words and don't have good memories?

Seemed like Emmitt looked uncomfortable with Seymour sitting next to him in the post game interview. Then when Seymour (addressing a question about the team responding without Brady) said something to the effect that Brady had a lot of great players around him over the years and then said to Emmitt, like you did in Dallas. I can't remember the exact words used, but I think it was a veiled slight at Emmit because an odd look came over him for just a moment before Seymour smoothed it over a bit.

Maybe someone who saw that and wasn't half asleep like I was could fill in some of the details. It was an enjoyable interview in any case.

why are some of you making excuses for the broncos? yes, cutler was hurt. yes, they were missing brandon stokley. yes, champ bailey went out with an injury. BUT we played without Brady, Maroney, Lamont Jordan and our oline is banged up as well. Plus Morris went out mid way through the game. In fact, I would say our injuries were more significant than theirs. SO at the end of the day, it was a quality win for us.

You have to take it for what it is worth (not much). Look at the undefeated Titans:

JAX = No receivers at all
at CIN = Nothing needs to be said
HOU = Should be better, but having trouble getting out of their own way
MIN = Stop Peterson, stop the Vikes...and they still can't stop the pass
at BAL = Average team with a rookie QB and limited running game
at KC = Total rebuilding job with revolving QBs

Pretty sad level of competition and the road opponents are historically bad. Anyone grading the Titans on a curve? What about the Giants with only one quality opponent on their schedule so far, yet still having a loss (CLE) and overtime win (CIN)? Same for the Steelers.

Every team in the league has significant flaws that could hurt their playoff chances and kill them in the playoffs. The "elite" teams are the ones that haven't been exposed yet. Welcome to the state of parity. Or is it parody? It is easy to get those mixed up lately.

Yeah, what was up with that? Young was screaming after the game and sounded like he was going to cry because he was so happy. LMAO, did everyone see what Seymour said to Emmitt after the game? Basically along the lines of "some people get too much credit when the team does good, just like THIS GUY *points at Emmitt* did when he played with Aikman and Irvin". Or something like that. Loved that part. :D
