Lots of people stayed at a Holiday Inn last night.
I'll wait for the official word.

Rodney is an all-time Pats great and one of my favorite players ever, regardless of whether he's done now or not.

I look forward to Rodney's return, either this year or next.

I really hope you're right. It looked ugly though.

I just saw the replay...WTF? Did he slip or something? I don't understand how it happened.

You could tell that Rodney suspected that his career was done as he was leaving the field.

I had the same thought.

Be well, Mr. Harrison -- football or no.

Damn....it did not look good.:(

It didn't look good the way his leg went. Just one of those things in football.

Let's stay positive.

Didn't look good, first thing I thought of was we just saw Rodney with a Uni on for the last time.....
Love to be wrong there.

GWS Rodney

Reminds me of Junior Seau walking off.

I hope Rodney proves to be equally wrong.

Not ready to give up hope just yet. Many times the worst looking injuries turn out to be minor. Not looking good, but you gotta hope.

Definitely didn't look good, but I was expecting a nasty fall with some guy crushing his leg....what I saw just looked like such a fluke. Bizarre. It almost looked like his knee just gave out.

Depressing.

Yea. He was a good player and leader. Hopefully Sanders and Merriweather can step up. He isn't the fastest but he is smart and a good tackler.

couldn't agree more but he's not a 24 year old anymore -

Please wait for the official word. He wasnt even hit on the play. It could just be sprained.

i never give up on Rodney, he can play until he is 40 it dont matter to me, he was/is the heart and sole of this D since he got here. He can do whatever he wants if he wants to retire thats ok too hes given us more than expected especially after his 1st knee injury.

Just a thought though...

looks like he hurt the outside of his left knee, i think that is an acl? Was the same knee he blew out before, so maybe he cant come back from it. But its early in the season, if he has surgery quickly he could rehab with Brady and come back one more year for one more run at it. Start on the pup would be ideal.

i know, seriously. what's wrong with the people on this board? he's done as a PAT? season ender? all of this after only 1 hour since the injury?

No contact + Cart = IR

I think the cart alone is the worst indicator.

Yeah, but mild bright side... I do like getting some more speed out there at the safety position. Smarts can only take you so far....

That being said, I can't but hope to have him back this year. The team is too young on the defensive side to lose him.
