To do this you will need:

- A Credit Card
- To be able to play Audio from your computer to some sort of speaker within earshot of your TV.
- A DVR or some other type of device capable of pausing live TV.

NFL Field Pass has a free 7 day trial, so just sign up for it for today and then cancel it tomorrow (Or if you want you can cancel it Sunday after the Rams game and get 2 games out of it.) and it won't cost you anything.

NFL Field Pass

Then set your computer up to play audio out loud and then when the game starts use your DVR to sync the audio with the video, the audio is always delayed because of internet latency. It may take a couple of tries to get it synced properly, depends on how picky you are.

This way you can listen to Gil and Gino call the game as opposed to that horrible Monday Night Crew.

REMEMBER TO CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION OR YOU'LL GET CHARGED!!! I will not be responsible, I warned you!

I have a radio with delay and close to Boston...I always put the volume down on the TV...esp ESPN's crew.

The problem with these, is that I can't use my DVR to pause the game should I need to (say, to put the kids to bed). So I'm stuck listening to the crap ESPN shoves on you.

I fully expect them to be gushing on about John Elway all night long

I sometimes watch MNF and wish it was only Tirico who was calling the games.

Its the only time Id rather watch a game with mute on. Did you hear them last week talking about buy one get one free high school football game tickets? I'm all about trying this thing out, thanks for the advice.

Jaws is good but Kornheiser drags him down because Tony can't just go off onto monologues during the middle of the game. He needs someone to interact with. If you got Kornheiser out of there then Jaws would be considered one of the best tv analysts out there, with Simms, who in my opinion is the best.

Jaws and Tirico would be really good IMO. I like them both. Kornhole needs to stick to dead last in the ratings afternoon debate shows on ESPN and get out of the football booth. The closest that guy has come to a jockstrap is when he sneaks into the lockerroom after the game and shoves them in his face.

Last year's Ravens game was the first and only televised sports broadcast I've ever muted.

Ron loves us though.

Well they surprised me. They went on about Brady a lot but Kornheiser actually defended and said he admired BB.

I didn't hear most of it. :D

Still Field Pass isn't that great an option either, they play this really loud annoying music when the Radio Station is in commerical, and the feed kept cutting off for 30 seconds at a time.

Still better than listening to the Monday Night Crew tho.

I got another suggestion from WVPATSFAN of Patriots Planet.

Another idea...I've mentioned this before.

If you have Sirius Satellite Radio (or, as I understand it, XM with a "Best of Sirius" package), and Tivo, you can do the same thing. I've been doing it for a few years and it's, not only, a way to avoid the horrible Monday Night crew, but all TV announcers.

Simply dial in the game on your TV provider of choice (satellite, cable, etc.) and dial up the Sirius call with Gil and Gino. The reason you need TiVO is you have to "pause" live TV, generally for about 15 seconds to sync up the audio with the video. Otherwise, you see what has happened way before Gil tells you.
