Yikes.

Patriots blog - Reiss' Pieces - Boston.com

The seven players [not present for media portion of practice] are:

# LT Matt Light
# RB LaMont Jordan
# RB Laurence Maroney
# RT Nick Kaczur
# DL Jarvis Green
# WR Kelley Washington
# LB Eric Alexander

Also, receiver Maurice Price was present at practice -- as he's been signed to the practice squad. Price had been released from the 53-man roster on Saturday to make room for RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis.

Matt Light? Whats up? If he's out Monday, we may as well put a bunch of tackling dummies out there to block for Cassel.

On second thought, that may not be a bad idea anyways....:D

The way the line is playing, they might as well not put anyone out there and go with a QB, two RBs, and 8 WRs.

I had actually thought of this. Go with the street style for small teams and give 'im three steamboats to get the ball out.

Let's hear it for NFL reform! Hey, if they allow handicaps in golf...

We can always sign some ghost linemen.

Re: The injury plague is getting downright scary.

Our running game is no good at this point. Passing game is the only option. Cassel for the passing game is really scary.

You should coach.

Re: The injury plague is getting downright scary.

There's only one injury that even means anything this season.

Having Nick Kazcur sidelined is actually an improvement. :)

Re: The injury plague is getting downright scary.

Hopefully, we won't see this long injury list in Dec.

Re: The injury plague is getting downright scary.

when it happens, you will be my 'special secondary' assistant coach. Are you ready for another 10 years of excellency?

If I took over the secondary, they would be a group of vicious, bloodthirsty badasses praying for a wide receiver to take out.

Can you read? If so, I would think you could compose a proper sentence or learn to spell "forum".

If you did a good job at this position, I would undoubtly promote you to DC.

Are you happy when I give you many targets to take out as a NEPatriot DC?

I hope you live up to your reputation.

I would hope so as well but I don't have any coaching aspirations. If I can get worked out as an NFL coach, I would enjoy the bankroll though. I would also advise my team to take some dirty shots on the quarterback. :D

Re: The injury plague is getting downright scary.

WOW, that's a lot of people out. I'm more concerned about Matt Light though.
