What is Denver point spread?

That's impressive.

I wish I knew how to open up an online account....maybe I'll try that.

I don't know...maybe I'm having a kind of pats-homer overreaction, but I've gone from a pats homer to thinking there's no way they can keep up with Denver if they get stomped to bits by SD.

I think you guys have it backwards. The patriots are favored by 3, and so you need to give 3 to bet on the patriots. This is usually posted as PATRIOTS -3; the caps because we are the home team.

Apparently the better know something about our defense that we don't.

iam shocked the pats are favored.

From what I have seen in last last several games this team should not be favored over Oklahoma University

easy money take denver and the points, big recievers, good qb, no pass rush = pats loss

I am thinking Denver +7 1/2? Am I close?

Were you really trying to say you think the Pats will be a 7 1/2 point UNDERDOG at HOME to Denver?
The Chiefs probably wouldnt be a 71/2 point underdog at home to Denver.

Why?
We are home, home means 3 points. That means the spread suggests Pats and Denver are a tossup on a nuetral field. That seems pretty much right to me.

Well we havent played SEVERAL games yet, we have played 5.
And in those 5 we have won 60% of them.
So I guess you are saying Oklahoma would be a playoff team in the NFL?

Yeah, maybe I'm naive, but I don't see the pats winnign this one. And I used to be ridiculed as a homer.

Why don't you spend your time somewhere else? What purpose could it possibly serve for you to spend your time going to a Patriots website, saying give up on the Patriots? Is that enjoyable to you?
Do you sit in a bar and say, "Damn, my neighbor is a decent looking guy, and he has some money, and I've got a few issues, so lock it up, my wife is home f#$%%ng the neighbor now?" I mean really, whats the point of pretending to be a Patriot fan so you can revel in saying you think they suck?

I'm a little surprised too, I figured after Sunday's mess it would be about even or maybe Denver by 1, even though it's in Foxboro. The line went down during the week last week, indicating there was more money being placed on the Pats by the Chargers; perhaps that's having the same influence on the opening line against Denver. By comparison, the Chargers are one-point favorites at Buffalo this week; seems like the Pats-Broncos game should be about the same.

We are a better team than Denver and playing them at home.

I'm sure as of today, you wouldnt see us winning against the Jets, Niners or Chiefs either.
We lost to SD. SD is good team, and they were at home.
Losing to a good team in their home does not make you an incompetant football team, it makes you what 99% of the other teams are, vulnerable to losing to good teams on the road.
That game does not cause us to start this one 10 points behind.

If Tom Brady were healthy you couldn't find anyone who would pick against the Pats in this game.
It would appear you are saying that the difference between Tom Brady and Matt Cassel is close to the difference between 16-0 and 0-16. I think that is obtuse and shortsighted.

Why is it so improper to say how you feel as a Patriots fan?

Do you always have to think the team is going to win the Super Bowl or is good to be labeled a fan?

The perception of what a fan should be in this forum is ridiculous - Just because you think the team is mediocre after being blown out by 45 points in 2 of the last 3 games is no reason to be labeled a troll or not a real fan - Get a reality check

We beat freaking Kansas City and the Jets and San freaking Francisco

Do you really take pride in beating these bottom dwellers?

Sort of like a bully being crowned toughest guy ever when all he ever beat was 4'5" midgets

This team is nothing more than a team that is capable of beating the sisters of the poor - get used to it

Please get real .....

Jets fans posing as Pats fans do that a lot

indeed I could see this one going either way

Like... last week?

Thats the whole point. You see Sunday as 'a mess.' As if we learned that the Patriots are incompetant and that one game will create shockwaves through our entire schedule.
The rest of the world sees it as normal. A good team beat another good team. The home team won. The score got kinda lop-sided. OK, pretty much as planned lets move on to next week.

How much do you think the Giants next point spread will change by them losing last night?
