Giants get schooled like the overrated and over-hyped team they are. Honestly, I was just waiting for someone to punch these guys in the mouth and Romeo did it tonight. Willie McGinest even caused sheli to throw an INT that ended up as a TD as he put pressure on him - 94 yard td return. :D

we should have kept willie...

we havnt found a decent replacement yet

honestly, i am still ticked at belicick for letting willie go. his fire, his passion, his ability to stuff the colts lol., etc. we need some leadership on our D right now, and i think willie would be our defensive captain.

Eli Cassel has a bad case of bitter Eli face tonight

have you seen willie play last 2 yrs ? one game and suddenly he is the missing link for the pats ?

That is the overriding mentality that permeates this place lately, unfortunately. The grass is always greener win or lose but hysterically so when we lose...

The Giants who beat us were luck and sucky. That's why they won their last 10 games and this first loss just proves it. They didn't beat us last February, we lost 'cause we suck...

get with the fanboy program. LOL

i said nothing about his play. i said he'd be a good leader. and i never said he'd be "the missing link" - that's peyton.

where's bruschi and vrabel? they are the ones that are supposed to step up as leaders.

a buddy of mine works for the skins, started a few months ago, and told me to pick a weekend during the fall to go down and visit him
once i heard about willie announcing this would be his last season i ran to redskins.com and realized the browns were playing there the same weekend we're on mnf...perfect!
needless to say im goin to the skins vs browns game next weekend that just got a lot more interesting
and guess what im wearing....my willie jersey!!!!!

bruschi was never really a leader, just a guy that talked a lot to the media, if you ask ppl close to the team they will tell you willie was the biggest leader of the defense by far

as for his play (and let me preface this by saying I am the single biggest willie fan around) it has declined big time since he left here. as much as I hated to see him go, for the money he wanted we made the right decision. however, you guys are correct in the fact that we miss him. we need a YOUNG willie mcginest. a guy that you don't have to scheme to get after the qb. a guy that can hold the edge, completely control his blocker, and go one on one with any tackle and get in the qb's face. willie didn't always necessarily get the sack, but as you saw tonight he's been known to force plenty of ints. so many cross my mind right now, ty law's diving int of quincy carter in the battle of the bills part 1 for some reason just came to mind.

I had a dream Saturday night that he came back. Then I noticed Drew was back, and so was Max Lane. That's when I realized I was still sleeping.

Yeah I hope Pats fans watched this game and chilled the F out about our team. The Giants, the most unstoppable force known to man, were crushed on national television by a BAD team trying to save its season. Oh, and their starting QB was playing too.

This is the NFL. Bad weeks happen. Now let's move on and beat Denver :)

 max lane? thats more like a nightmare

Well said.

What started as an amazing dream seeing Willie back in a Pats uni (I wonder if we'll do one of those one day contracts with him, that would be cool) did end as quite a nightmare. Although Max Lane wasn't much worse than Nick Kaczur.

I'd prefer a not-too-young Willie. Young Willie was hurt an awful lot.

You can't lead a team from the bench, or the trainer's room, in the NFL. It just doesn't work. McGinest's days as a team leader are over.

maybe you're right but no one has stepped up in his place.
