the result of this season is a no lose situation! Whatever happens we come out with a positive result!

Nobody expects us to win the SB this year without Brady. So if we dont win its not a failure like last season! Now if BB wakes the heck up and starts OConnell i believe we have a good chance at winning the division and making the playoffs. Which will be exciting for the fans, that is a positive season without Brady, and watching the playoffs win or lose is always exciting, which is what everyone wants.

If we stick with Cassel we will bomb this season, but guess what that means HIGH DRAFT PICK! That means another stud like Mayo added to the team, imagine Maualuga/Jenkins/a OT etc. With a high 1st round pick, 2 2nd round picks, 2 3rd round picks, Brady coming back next season = gauranteed SB win in 09!

Worse case scenario is we go 9-7 and just miss the playoffs and get like the 18th, 19th pick in the draft. But i dont see that happening, so no matter what we cant lose this season.

Now if you think Cassel, who has been here for more than a couple of months, holds onto the football for too long then you're going to be disgusted when you see the rookie O'Connell. But hey, I guess we should only place the blame on Cassel and completely destroy any development that O'Connell would have had going.

By the way, you may want to make your argument a little more airtight before you start throwing out suggestions like that after every loss. There is plenty of blame to go around for this team. If they put O'Connell in you will see that.

Anyway, yes, they could get a good draft pick, as painful as that would be to see (the losses I mean).

They really need an OL, some DL who can rush the passer instead of just sit around. Maybe an OLB who can do the same (Crable?)...and of course a healthy Brady.

Sure. Joey Harrington came out of the first round with a lot of promise then was thrown to the wolves immediately and quickly became a bust. He developed bad habits that still carry over to this day. Ryan Leaf is another example of a QB drafted with good promise that started behind a shaky offensive line and quickly turned into a bust. David Carr is another QB who, prior to coming to the NFL, showed great promise with the ability to spread the ball around yet started behind a bad O-Line and developed the same bad habits. Kyle Boller comes to mind as well. These are all current or not so old examples. I can come up with plenty more older ones if you want.

Now I know you're going to turn around and say "well those guys are busts". Indeed they were. But whose to say they wouldn't have been complete busts if they had time to develop? Of course you can turn around and point to the Ben Roethlisbergers and Carson Palmers of the world as well. The bottom line is it's a 50/50 shot of whether or not KO will come in when he's ready and light the world up. Why take any chance whatsoever on hindering that now when we're 3-2 and there is blame to spread around to other positions that are much more deserving of it than the QB?

James Sanders has no right starting over Brandon Meriweather, none, yet he still starts and contributes nothing to this defense except doing his best to make sure everything stays in front of him. Meriweather makes plays, always around the football, he is so much better than James Sanders, yet BB and his stubborn ways will stick with Sanders.......

Richard Seymour, what more can I say. Told all of us how great he was going to be this year now that he's finally healthy with a full healthy off-season and camp under his belt. BS. TIME TO STEP UP RICHARD. I watched every one of his snaps against SF (3 times on my DVR). He was brutally invisible. To think of the money that this guy has banked.

I don't hold Cassel at total fault, there's plenty to share, but he takes a good piece of the pie.
