And the nightmare continues in different twists and turns.

I will periodically check in on the Pats, but, this is going to be a long year.

We are Pats fans, and Ive been a fan since 78.. Its just been a horrible trend .. That super bowl game has set of a bad chain of events.. The whole crap of the offseason, the inj to Brady , the sudden lack of energy on D... Its going to be a long year, but we take it 1 game at a time.. My expectations were shot 6 weeks ago.. And I knew the super bowl was not going to happen.. But Im more dissapointed about the lack of energy on D..


Bill Belichick gets a pass, but the whole Cassel faith has me puzzled.. He is a back up for a reason, and he is not going to get any better or worse..

Yes it will be a long year, but I will still root for them. I want to see Mayo, Guyton and the rest of the rookies show us something for next season. I haven't given up on them, but I don't expect them to do anything this season. But seriously, their is always next year. Their is more important things in life than whether or not the Pats win a superbowl.

What are you guys talking about? We had them through the first quarter and let them off the hook. This is just a learning experience.

it's just frustrating. this would be a little more bearable had we won the superbowl, but we didn't and this was suppose to be our year.

the past 4 years have been nothing but missed opportunities.

it is going to be a frustrating season because IMO i think Cassell will be middle of the pack. he will make just enough plays to stay the starter

and i do think they'll win next week. but lose the following.

i expect 9-7, 10-6 at this point.

they've regressed in terms of emotional fortitude and having letdowns following a victory.

I still think we will make the playoffs. Our schedule is nothing to be afraid of. Before Brady went down a lot of people had @ SD as a loss anyway. Now if we can get a new QB then I think we will be favorites to win the division and actually do something once we get to the playoffs.

I am thinking either 9-7 or 8-8.

I want to believe in Cassel, but, I just can't do it.

He just doesn't have that "it" factor.

yeah i was stretching at 10-6. i'm saying 9-7 as i think they'll put together a couple back to back victories but will most likely win every other game.

As Pats fan, we have been spoiled and have to take the good with the bad. Sure, this game was bad, but for some people to say the season is over at 3-2 needs to stop and think for a second.
