Our motto for 2009 should me, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss" in reference to Tom Brady.

2009 Kickoff weekend is 327 days away.

I moved on to 2009 the instant Brady's knee ligaments snapped. I knew how this movie was going to end.

And we don't have to wait 327 days. The draft and FA will be of monumental importance moving forward and they're just around the corner.

Thats one good thing about this season. We will probably get a pick from 13-17. Maybe a Laurinitis or Malcolm Jenkins will drop to us.

Just around the corner? That's an interesting way of looking at it.

Of course, looking at it that way, one could make the argument that the Pats should just tank the rest of the season.

They won't tank it. But realistically, the only useful point of this season is to get guys like Wheatley, Crable, Mayo etc. PT. This will come in handy next season when we're competitive again.

haha this thread's funny. we gotta hang tough, support our team.

We're not 0-5. Hell we don't even have a losing record. These threads are amazing

I said nothing about lack of support. Which is fine because you said it for me.

Hey maybe if you click your heels three times Brady will heal and descend upon the stadium on a magic flying unicorn that ****s million dollar bills for everyone in the crowd.

Cool I'll try that

I hope your joking about wanting Laurinitis; that guy is not a 3-4 inside LB. Malcolm Jenkins sucks balls as well. Ray Malaluga is the guy you want. The man is huge for an inside LB.

Thats all Im waiting for because this season is clearly trash. Too bad this team isn t going to be elite again for a while. One, who knows if Brady will ever fully return to form or if Moss will make it through this year with "team player" reputation intact enough to play withBrady again. Harrison could retire and the entire o line and secondary cannot be fixed in one year.

Yuk.

We need help on the O-line. Plenty of good O-linemen next year. If we go linebacker - Rey Maualuga. Or Brandon Spikes.

lol 13-17 is too high. we will likely get another top 10 and this year we don't have to trade with San Fran.

Were 3-2, second in the AFC East, some people on this board need to get a grip...

I'm sorry but anyone in this forum or in Patriot Nation that thinks this team will end up better than 8-8 or maybe 9-7 at best must be either delusional or if not then you should seek medical attention immediately.

Just enjoy the NFL for the game of football this season like as if you were a fan of no team because thats how you need to be to last this season or your hair will be gone and your blood pressure up.

Soon to be third in the East...maybe fourth if the Dolphins play as decent like they have been lately

Or a mathematician. Given a record of 3-2 and assuming the same performance through 16 weeks the Pats would end up 10-6 or 9-7.

I'm still wating for this Bom Trady guy to show up.
