Did anyone else catch this, after the first half, McDaniels yelling at Belichick and jawing in his ear as they both walked off the field? McDaniels' face was completely red, he was yelling so hard.

First of all Josh, you don't talk to your boss like that, let alone one of the greatest football minds in history. Second of all, you have been lucky to have Tom Brady make you look good ever since you became OC in 2006, why don't you spend a little more time on improving this offense.

I'm watching this game and McDaniels has basically called the same 5 plays, over and over and over. Does this guy not self-scout himself? SO predictable, at this point I can predict over half of the plays where the ball is going.

You don't know what Josh was saying or how he was saying it. It didn't look to be hostile from the video.

He absolutely should have been raising hell. They got the ball with over a minute left and needed to go out with something positive. If Belichick isn't going to show any confidence in his staff, then why have them there? He's not going to win any game coaching by himself.

I agree. The conversation was not heated. McDaniels was not red-faced. He was likely just speaking up to be heard.

Again, the haters trying to create trouble.

Belichick was basically ignoring him and kept walking off the field toward the locker room, with McDaniels following him and yelling in his ear during that entire walk off the field. During his walk Belichick didn't even look at or respond verbally to McDaniels, he just kept walking and looking straight ahead.

It looked to me like he was yelling. If he was, I wouldn't mind if BB snaps and fires him

What are you talking about? Nice try!

NBC followed Belichick after the end of the first half, and it was bizarre to see McDaniels basically stalking Belichick and yelling in his ear during the entire walk.

McDaniels should spend more energy in finding some new plays outside of the same 5 things he calls over and over. This isn't a Madden game where you just use your favorite plays all the time.

Do you people even watch what they were showing, or do you just take what Madden says as gospel? It looks to me that Josh was answering a question that BB asked him, and was speaking loudly so he could be heard. When they cut to the low camera shot as they approached the end zone you could cleary see BB ask another question, and he didn't look upset (well, anymore than being down on the scoreboard).

So you're telling us that something is wrong that the HC and OC are actually...gasp....talking?!?

Now about those nice tight shots of the cheerleaders....

Believe it or not, BB may not have been too thrilled with the world at that moment in time. It doesn't mean he was ignoring what McDaniels was saying.

They were just talking. I admit that we don't know what was said and can be interpreted any way, but it clearly did not look heated. Re-watch the tape. If that is McDaniels "heated", then the man is a major panzy.

Madden just asked why New England isn't doing any hurry up no-huddle offense, and it's a great question.

By the way, even Al Michaels recognizes the Pats are running the same play. He just commented the Pats just ran the exact same play as before. McDaniels = predictable

Josh: "What the hell do you MEAN just hand it off to Faulk 3 times if we even smell the end zone then seal the deal with Morris..."

Are we talking about body language again?:ugh:

I doubt the predictability of his play calls is due to Belichick. It's almost like McDaniels only has a list of 10 or so plays for the entire game and just calls the same thing over and over. He is also way too obvious in choosing certain plays for certain downs.

On that goal line offense, we had 4 chances, 3 pass plays (!?), and I don't know why Moss would ever not be in a red zone package, but that was the case, did anyone else notice this?

Casell is the worst player on the offense. Yet on first and goal from the one, McDaniels put the burden on Cassel to make a play three times. How does that make any sense?

Quite puzzling. You'd figure Cassel needs work so they're give him the chance to throw it all over the place and develop something, but they go out with a whimper. Something is seriously wrong in all areas of Patriot land.

Newsflash
Those who didn't start being fans lately know that BB can have some heated back and forth discussions with his staff. Part of the job. BB's dictum is that IF you disagree you'd simply better cite facts that support your position. Read Patriot Reign and watch the coach on the sidelines when you go to games.

Yep. You think Nick Saban just sat around and took direction from Belichick ? Nope.
