One quarter through the season and our AFC East has the most total wins (11) in the entire conference.

Also, it is the only division in the entire NFL that does not have a team with a losing record.

Pretty neat.

AFC Least...

In a large part Brady being out the entire season makes the afc east look tougher then it really is imo.

Thanks for posting this! I love it when the AFCE is good.

I want to have division pride but it's hard to when Eric Mangini and Joey Porter are a part of the division.

No problem with the Bills.

Yeah, that's understandable. I totally root for laundry. If we knew what many NFL players have never been caught at, this might be a badminton forum.

Seconded. Though I like Parcells and think he's going to do a good job with the fins (already has, really). Plus Ronnie Brown. Kid is a really tough back. Joey Porter is just a loudmouth - reason enough to can Mueller, Ginn Jr. notwithstanding.

This is an all-around weird football year.

Let's take the divisional games out, and see what happens:

AFC East: 8-3
AFC North: 2-6
AFC South: 4-4
AFC West: 3-6

AFC Beast indeed. :D

And two of those losses came against what I think is a pretty good Arizona squad. 9 or 10 wins isn't out of the question for them with that offense. Love to see Larry Fitzgerald in a Pats uniform some day.

With their offense, I personally think Arizona can play with any team in the league, for the mere fact they have the ability to outscore anybody.

I see them upsetting Dallas this weekend.

How does Brady being out cause the three other teams to win non-division games?

Best in the AFC, no question. Not in the NFL just yet.

NFC East: 11-1(!)
NFC North: 4-9
NFC South: 9-5
NFC West: 3-9

NFC Beast, too.

nfc east is clearly the best

It's all about the East this year. The AFC East and the NFC East are the two best divisions in football right now. I love it when our division is strong. It's good practice for the playoffs when games really matter.

I like it that the Bills are the ones in resurgence and that now beating the Jets MEANS something.

Alas, I'm still rooting for Bengals, Bye Week and Texans wins this Sunday.

Could it be that we have the easier schedule so far?

Just a question, not trying to be negative here.
