From what I read here the guys are loving this stayover out west and just relaxing renting cars and driving around checking out some sights in the Silicon Valley area - I wonder if Junior spent a little time with the guys visiting in his backyard.

If there is one thing about this weeks game, its that you won't see a tired old veteran bunch dragging through back to back road games with no rest or lack of sleep - Belichick apparently has them happy, fresh and ready to go Sunday night - I can see a hard hitting group coming fresh and full of force against the bolts .

Who wouldn't want to be in California compared to what the team is going to get weatherwise in the next month or two.

FYI, Silicon Valley is no where near Seau's backyard. It's a seven-hour drive to San Diego.

Yeah, but these guys can afford the $10k 1/2hr plane flight.

Well, at least the Chargers won't be moving to L.A. for another couple of years so the guys don't have to dodge gunfire this time around. :D

Sights? In Silicon Valley? Ummm...

"Hey look! There's Apple! There's Cisco! There's Google! OMG, Applied Materials! National Semiconductor! Holy smokes...Intel!"

If they're driving around checking out the sights, that's code for they're heading up to SF.

Regards,
Chris

This is the only kind of Bill Belichick party photo I need...

Later in the year, they will be on the road against the Raiders and Seahawks. Wondering if they stay in San Jose again for a short drive to Oakland.

Makes sense.

Bill won't let them get on a plane to go anywhere. End of story. Period.

If that was the case, they would be going to Vegas and not Seau's.

How about the 1:30 min or less drive to Pebble Beach? That's more likely.

Have you ever been to Junior Seau's restaurant and sports bar in San Diego?

It like 14,500 square feet long and monitors for games everywhere you look

I haven't been to San Diego since 1980 but after seeing his restaurant online it would be one of the first places I would visit if I went there

40 mins to SF vs. 90 mins to Monterey? Put my money on SF, but 17 Mile Drive is worth the trip.

Chris

Agreed. I was there last week. Weather is perfect right now. If Tommy was still playing he would have had a tee time at Pebble Beach or Cypress - You can bank that.

I'd have much rather him had a tee time against the Chargers' defense.

I was there about 10 years ago. What a great place to just chill and watch games. It was in June at about 5 PM local time so they had every east coast baseball game on tv. I can only imagine now with HD what it must be like.

No, never been. But I will make it there next time I'm in San Diego.

Where is it located?? Give me the area relative to the airport.

I've been there- the place rocks. It's good that the Pats will be here--I live in California now :(--for about a week. It's awesome for about that long, but any longer and the stupidity level really starts to get to you.
