So, let me start this off by saying this was an idea of a co-worker who isn't a member here. But, this might not be all that bad of an idea. It will NEVER happen, but speculatively speaking, would you do it? We're fine with the trio of Morris-Jordan-Faulk at rb, and Ocho Stinko would give us two amazing down field threats. I'm pretty close to being done with LoMo, even though I think part of the problem is that we don't utilize his skill-set correctly. As crazy as it sounds, I think I would vote yes.

I'd do it, but the Bengals wouldn't.

Do you think Ocho could live with being a #2 receiver opposite Moss? I don't think his ego could take it. Then he'll be acting up in the media all the time. So he probably wouldn't fit in. And don't forget the salary issue.

I think the depth chart on the NE offense is a little different than it is in a lot of places. We could really use a second vertical threat. That said, they haven't cut Price yet...

The Bengals have gone straight downhill ever since Ocho Cinco choked an assistant coach at halftime in their playoff loss to the Steelers a few years ago. I don't want him here.

If I were looking to move Maroney for a big name WR, it wouldn't be Johnson. I'd be calling Detroit and seeing if I could work something out for Williams.

Was this suppose to go in the Fantasy Football forum?

Dallas is likely to make a run at him next season in a trade - I see neither going anywhere this season

Maroney is a waste IMO - It seems 1 or 2 yards and he goes down like a ton of bricks.

I vote NO. Ocho Stinko stinks AND he's a spotlight hogging malcontent. At least Maroney only stinks.

I also don't know if Maroney is totally at fault for his predicament. The Pats' playcalling for him seems very unimaginative to me. Why don't they try a sweep with him more often? If he could get behind Evans and an offensive lineman that would allow him to turn the corner, he could do some damage. They just run him into the line time after time and he goes no where. He obviously is not the same kind of back as Morris or Jordan - why do they keep trying to use him the same way?

agree 100% here

Not a chance. first of all the trade is not an even trade and would have to include a draft pick.

Secondly, no chance I want Ocho Stinko on my team without Tom Brady in his face on a daily basis telling him to shut the hell up and catch the ball.

Next year? Maybe. But I still like Randy, Wes and Tommy with a solid running game. I think that combination is nearly unbeatable.

If you really want to propose a crazy trade then why not Maroney for Larry Johnson, KC gets younger and LJ gets his wish to get out of town. LJ's talent is being wasted on that team.

nope...i woudlnt trade LoMo for a wide reciever...

(not unless were talking top 5 in the league wr)

we dont need another WR, we need to establish the runnign game...

now if u asked to trade LoMo for one of the better tackles in the NFL....

then that i would consider

Go check out LJ's contract, then report back. :)

We probably wouldn't have to give up much more than a 4th rounder, given Ocho Stinko's play of late. Plus have all of you forgotten how smitten BB is with him?!?

I would never want Ocho Cinco on the Pat's. His selfish attitude would not go over well in the locker room I expect.

I'd much rather have Roy Williams from Detroit!

Why trade our RB, a position fraught with injuries, to add to a position where we're deep? A little thought before posting a topic will help improve this site.

FWIW believe that Maroney is not 100% and his shoulder is still a bit balky....
