It was not a one game thing. THEY SUCK! The homers can chug the kool-aid, but you all know the truth. No pressure on the qb, terrible pass coverage, and blown assignments all over the place.

I keep saying it, pull the plug on J. Sanders and let Wheatley in there at CB. Sanders sucks so bad, he never makes plays and can't takle worth a crap.

omg, i just watched the second 49er touchdown. wowowow, when did the Pats D get so bad? it is laughable right now, and after a bye week?...jeez, this looks like the Bengals defense out there....

yah they are not playing well this season. maybe its time to substitute crable in at OLB. maybe he can get a better pass rush. Vrabel isnt so good, hasnt been since early lastyear

Too bad you don't know what you are talking about. Sanders wasn't playing CB..Sanders was playing Safety. And if you are referring to the Bruce catch when Bruce was wide open, that was Rodney's fault. Sanders had the short area there..Rodney should have stayed with Bruce instead of letting him go since Meriweather was the over the top help.

Holding the 9'ers to 109 yards at the half is laughable...

Maybe you should wait more than 30 real time minutes after the start of a football game before making any assessments at all...yeesh what an idiot u are.

But what WAS he thinking?

But what WAS he thinking?

It doesn't matter what he was thinking. Sanders was on the other side of the field from him and Harrison clearly should have seen Sanders. In either situation, Harrison is the one in the wrong.

Yeah everyone is allowed their own opinion but can we please just ban the OP? His kind brings nothing to this board but pure stupidity.:banned:

Defense is looking better as the game goes on. Midway through the 3rd Qtr they've held the 49ers, who have the second most plays over 20 yds in the NFL, to under 150 yards with two picks to boot.

It ended under 200 yds with 3 INT.

Yeap, our defense is laughable...

Next time I suggest you people to wait for the end of the game to start bashing the team... well, you wouldn't wait so long... could you at least wait for the end of the first quarter? :D

The niners suck.....and the pats played poorly on D for a large chunk of the game. The end result was a good one, but first the first two Q's it looked like last week all over again.

A Mike Martz offense with Frank Gore is held to under 200 total yards. Yes, the defense needs work.

Yup, they rank 12th in total offense. They are terrible.

Your right! No worries at all. Pats played AWESOME. We wont have any issue vs the better O's in the NFL if we make the playoffs.

What was I thinking?! Pats D is awesome this year!

Actually, Patslifer, we did not give up a 1st down in the 2nd quarter (nor the third). Nothing but 3 and outs.

"the first two quarters PROVES it!!!!! Pats are BADDDD. They should listen to ME!!!! I've been a Pats genius my whole life!!! ME!!!! first two quarters BAAAAAD!!!!! Who cares if they won???"

NOBODY is saying we don't have worries. Every team has concerns...it's YOU and YOUR TOTAL NEGATIVITY that rankles everybody.
