Any surprises that they are 2-0? Cincy next week, should be another W. Should the SB hangover have kicked in yet, or will it only kick in if they lose to a legit SB contender, like say the Boys or the Pack:rolleyes:

The Giants beat a Redskins team under a new coach and new offense and the St. Louis Rams. Let's not annoint them repeat Super Bowl champions yet.

In other news, I feel really bad for Scott Linehan for some odd reason. You could tell the guy was about to burst into tears in his interview.

LOL!! Not really "annointing" anyone, but c'mon, these guys are supposed to suffer that hangover. Eli stinks. You know the drill.

I don't think they will fold. That said they haven't beaten a good team yet. But they're a very good team.

The Giants have the best coach in the NFC, i expect them to be in Tampa in February, Dallas, maybe GB are the only teams i think that can knock them out.

when they play a good team

they're a good football team and tuck is stepping up to the challenge. Kiwanuka is even a force when he's in the game.

maybe it's just me, but since when has there been a "hangover" from winning a super bowl? I thought the "curse" was mainly on those who lost it, which would be us...

giants look like a completely different, more confident team since last december

good for them

I don't see them "folding", but I doubt they'll get back to the Super Bowl. Philly looked damn good Monday night, as did Dallas, meaning the Giants are up for some fierce divisional games yet this year.

And yes, they're 2-0, but last year they started out 0-2...

Many fans thought the Giant team would "fold" this season. They thought it was all luck, that Eli really isn't that good.

Way to go out on a limb to predict they won't make the SBowl. There are 16 teams in the NFC, only one will make it, so it's pretty easy to predict that a team won't make it, you have a 15 out of 16 chance to be right. Many saw a 9-7 year with no playoffs. It could STILL happen, but I like their 3-0 start.

They'll be 6-0 it looks like (vs Seattle, at Cleve, vs San Fran) heading into their game against Pittsburgh, but beginning with that Pitt game (their 7th) on October 26th, their last 10 include four with Dallas/Philly, at Washington, at Arizona, Carolina, Minnesota, Baltimore, and Pitt. That's a tough stretch of 10 games right there. But if they are in fact 6-0, they will have bought themselves a ton of cushion.

I think they're a good team. I could see any one of Dallas/Philly/Giants winning the NFC East and getting homefield throughout the playoffs.

Wow, guess you showed me.

Forgive me, I don't make the Vegas odds. Perhaps in the future I can make more emboldened predictions that will come closer to meeting your high quality standards. In the meantime, eat me.

Aww, it's not just you, it's a ton of you.

The 'Skins will take care of them when they come here.

i hate to say it, but the giants are the best team in football so far this year

I'm glad to see the Giants are doing so well so far this year; I feel better losing to them in the Super Bowl now, I thought they were nothing but a lucky ***** team with a horseshoe up their ***** in the playoffs last year and Eli was a total stiff/bust as a QB and nothing more than an overated hick and Coughlin was nothing more than an overated gas bag.

I am so glad that is not the case.

It's too early to call. Pats did well in their regular season but failed short in a SB game.

Eli is unstoppable. I think he is going to out play his brother this season

My sentiment exactly. The Giants seemed to get going when needed last year and appear to have carried that form into the early part of this season.

The sheer fast is we were a far better team than the Giants last year, except in the two horse race where they did what they needed to do to win and we effectively shot oursevles in the foot with poor play calling and execution.

My hat is off to them. I am still gutted about the SB loss, yet feel a sense of relief that it was to what I see now as a very very good team.
