Let me start of by saying I'm a fellow pats fan but I'm just calling it like I see it. This guy is nothing without Brady. Brady won with scrubs. This guy can't even win with elite talents across the board.

Get the F off this board then.

You won't be missed.

With fellow Pats fans like you, who needs Jets fans.

Well, thank you for coming to that conclusion afte the Pats' first regular season loss in 22 games. Nothing like jumping to grande conclusions after one game.

You seem to be so intelligent that you should be an ESPN Analyst. And I wouldn't take that as a compliment.

And I do as well..learn something about football and scram!!!! SO called "fans" like you are not needed...

Hoodie boy couldn't win in cleveland. He came to the pats and couldn't win with Bledsoe. His success began after Brady stepped in. Brady is out at the moment and he can't win. Its no coincedence.

The Pats are 2-1. And you are a troll.

You can also say the same thing if Chuck Knoll didn't have Terry Bradshaw. You can also say the same thing if Tom Landry didn't have Roger Staubach. You can also say the same thing if John Madden didn't have Ken Stabler. You can't also say the same thing if Mike Holmgren didn't have Brett Favre in Green Bay. You can also say the same thing if Bill Walsh didn't have Joe Montana. You can also say the same thing if Jimmy Johnson didn't have Emmitt Smith. You can also say the same thing if Joe Gibbs didn't have his HOGS OL.

So your point being?

The Belichick-led Browns made the playoffs in 1995. They were doing quite well in 1996 when Art Modell pulled the rug out from under the team.

If only this forum had a "Smite" button . . . but "Ignore User" is a useful substitute.

"Hoodie Boy" took the Browns to the playoffs. And beat the New England Patriots on the way.

But, by all means, please don't let the facts get in the way of your revisionist history.

Please go step in front of a speeding bus.

Ian, there isn't a maximum number of people you can put on the ignore list is there?

I have alot of relatives in Cleveland-from what I understood, Modell LIKED Belichick, and gave him time to rebuild that team. BB said it would take Cleveland(from '91) to rebuild in 5 years, he did it in 4. But the year after they made the playoffs, Modell backslapped the team AND the city and the distractions came about, hence ruining that team's season.

Ummm.... The Browns were 11-5 and went to the playoffs the year before he left Cleveland and they were a 5-11 team when he inherited them. I give him a muligan for his last season since the Browns announced they were moving to Baltimore a month into the season that year and they basically had away games for the rest of the year since Browns fans booed them louder than any visiting team ever.

BTW, the Pats won their first Super Bowl with Brady being nowhere near the HOF QB he became. He was an above average QB that season who didn't win many games, but managed the game and didn't make mistakes. The defense and special teams were a bigger factor than the offense that year.

Also, in 2003, the Pats had the best defense in the league, but an average offense. The Pats were first in the league in points allowed. The most total turnovers with 58. First in INTs with 29. The most defensive TDs with 6. Sixth in sacks with 41. The offense on the other hand was 17th in total yards and 12th in scoring (and that factored in the six TDs made on defense and Bethel Johnson's kick return for a TD).
