I don't quite know whether its the blowout loss to a crap team that has some in here in an uproar or is it simply a loss?

If its a loss you are upset about, I think you need to get therapy because the minute Brady went down, more than one loss and probably several was all but a sure thing so its no surprise and all of you should have been prepared for the first loss which will most likely precede more down the line.

Or are you upset because of what the competition was who blew out the team like Miami did and which the Dolphins are likely to win only about 5 games at most this season?

Which is it?- In other words if the team lost to SD or Indy yesterday instead of Miami, are you still going bonkers over the defense stinking up the field?

It's a divisional loss to a team we should manhandle on paper. A team that the Jets and Bills will probably sweep and it could play a huge factor in a tiebreaker if it comes to that. I'm still hopeful we can turn it around and still make the playoffs but until that happens this loss is going to sting.

The blowout part I could care less about. We've been blown out before by teams and came back to beat them later in the season.

I'm pissed at how the Patriots played and coached. I think its foolish to think that we can't boo the team for not playing or coaching like the champions that they are. It doesn't mean we don't love them anymore - it means that we hold them to the higher standard that has been created under the BB Era. We expect that the team will be fully prepared for each opponent, will make proper in-game adjustments, and will execute on the field. We saw none of that yesterday.

I didn't see the game so i am only going on by what I have read.
Totally outplayed in all area of the game. No long passes to Moss. why not?
Was there any emotion from the team... I didn't see it so I can't day. You have to have emotion to win.

Uh the way they lost is what I'm upset about. I can handle losss. I got over teh SSB pretty quick and this would have been nothing if they at least looked like they gave a damn about winning (which I'm sure they did). It was just a piss poor effort yesterday.

I am upset about the loss, but not devestated by it. I do realize that it is only one game and even some of the best teams in history have gotten blown out by bad teams in the road to the Super Bowl including the Pats in 2003 where they got blown out 31-0 to a Bills team that went 6-10. Also, in 2006, the Pats were 1 minute away from going to the Super Bowl eventhough they lost to a 6-10 Dolphins team 21-0 earlier that season.

That said, I still don't know if the Pats are a playoff team (although I think they likely are) and Miami is as bad as everyone thinks. I think the Dolphins are going to sneak up on a few teams this year and could even get 6-7 wins. I thought that before the season started.

Personally, I think it is the perception that the Dolphins are that bad, but the first two weeks could have been an abnormality because Pennington is still learning the offense and Ronnie Brown was coming back from injury.

I don't quite know whether its the blowout loss to a crap team .......

I disagree that this is a crap team. First I know a lot of so called gurus
have them at the bottom of the barrel but I think they are wrong!
here's why:

They improved their Oline - now they can run block and protect their QB.
They have one of the most accurate passers around who is smart.
They have two very good RBs.
Their D has several VETs and some new bodies for the 3-4 D they wanted
to play but couldm't get Taylor to buy into.
They got some good coaching now and there is Mr Parcells behind it all.

It was just a matter of getting some experience .... bad team?
I'm going to guess they'll get at least 8 wins this year maybe more if that
offense stays healthy.

I think most have underestimated this team. By November they'll be peaking and I wouldn't be surprised if they beat the Bills and Jets and
maybe even the PATs again ... they have the better QB now.

I wouldn't hold your breath. The Bills needed to overcome 2 scores to beat lowly Oakland, and last week, they barely beat an injury-riddled Jags team. The Jets also needed a miracle pass from Favre to beat Miami 2 weeks ago.

Let's give the Fins some credit-wherever Parcells goes, his teams play very competitively.

I agree with everything that you said. I'm more pissed that they never made any adjustments and They really showed no heart. I hope that players and coaches look in the mirror is week and remember what it takes to win.

They are NOT bad. What people don't seem to remember is that last year most of their losses were only by 3 points. They were not getting blown out every week.

If we would have lost by a few points I would be mad. Instead we stunk it up left, right, & center so it is fair to conclude that it was not really them out there. Today is a new day and the team needs to wipe the dust off and start over. 49ers are next.
