I think it is more the O Line, and the TE's haven't helped out. Brady is a HOF so he definitely will make them look better, but that doesn't mean they are this bad. As usual, the truth lies somewhere in between.

Both parties have to help one another (the QB and the OLine) together as a unit. It's pretty clear that both parties have to share the blame.
Nick Kaczur is a very bad RT and Matt Cassel has no concept of slight movements in the pocket to slide left or right or to even step up to buy himself just that extra second to get the throw off, piss poor pocket-presence.
Cassel is far more mobile than Brady. He's also quicker to run than Brady. The notion that he's some sort of 'statue' in the pocket just makes no sense to me.
our oline has always been inconsistent. we are just spoilt by brady taking all those hits and hitting receivers that we never cared to notice in the wins.if manning had taken the hits brady took and iam not talking about the SB then you wouldve heard from him . this is an example sacks dont matter-our oline gave up very less sacks but brady has been hit a LOT during his career.but no one stands in there , takes a hit and makes a completion . not even manning.cassel of course doesnt.

Cassel might run faster than Brady but that doesnt mean jack. Cassel has ZERO pocket awareness. Brady is one of the best I've ever seen at feeling pressure & moving around in the pocket to buy enough time to get the pass off ( all while continuing to look downfield ). Cassel is the exact opposite of Brady in this regard.
