Cassel seems to have trouble feeling the pressure and only moves at the last minute, but there are pretty large protection problems.
O-Line.
Look what they did to Brady in the SB and the 1st game of the season.
Look at how many "holes" the RB's are getting.
The SB showed all the other teams what to do against the Pats, and they've been doing it.

Cassel is far more mobile than Brady. He's also quicker to run than Brady. The notion that he's some sort of 'statue' in the pocket just makes no sense to me.
Maybe Brady is just more decisive in the pocket in terms of getting rid of the ball.

Cassel might run faster than Brady but that doesnt mean jack. Cassel has ZERO pocket awareness. Brady is one of the best I've ever seen at feeling pressure & moving around in the pocket to buy enough time to get the pass off ( all while continuing to look downfield ). Cassel is the exact opposite of Brady in this regard.
