Here’s the latest, just issued by the Patriots: Did Not Participate in Practice LB Eric Alexander (calf) RB LaMont Jordan (foot) RB Laurence Maroney (shoulder) WR Kelley Washington (ankle) Limited Participation in Practice NT Vince Wilfork (back)

Nice update Chris....add Wilfork to the worry list this week...HOPE it's like Moss's back of last week..while I THINK he was bothered by that..he was off the report by game time...I am still hoping that either Maroney or Jordan will play Sunday..given that LM was out for a chunk of time, my guess is he may be the one who will be out. It's always good to have 4 solid backs who can carry the load.

Yeah, a healthy Vince is a MUST - it's almost, but not quite, as important as a healthy Brady. I think we could overcome losing one - which is good, b/c we've already lost one of them - but it'd start to get dicey if we had to play w/o Vince as well. The entire run defense is predicated on his ability to absorb a double team and slow a guard from getting into the ILBs.

So... he wasn't on this report yesterday...

Still practiced. I think he'll be ok. Some guys probably need to get rested and it's got to be reported.

*sigh*

Could also mean an injury happened today *during* practice. May know more tomorrow, if Wilfork skips practice completely.

Well aren't you just a little ray of sunshine...

Anytime one sees a player on teh injury report it's not good..and injuries happen all the time..part of the game. Maybe my use of worry was a bit strong..concerned..THAT might be better..but a back injury can be quite serious. That he participated may have lessened that "worry"..but more will be learned tomorrow. Having Miami..a bye and the Frisco is OK...time for a bit of rest. This will be a long year and NT, I agree, is a position that is crucial to maintain.

Given it's the Dolphins at home this week, then the bye week, I think we could see anyone who is the slightest bit knicked up being held out this week. This would amount to 3 weeks rest for them.

The good news is that Watson, Moss, and Gaffney are all ready to play.

Very true...With Spach's release, I really thought then that Big Ben was OK..but it's great that he, Gaffney, Moss, Aiken and the offensive line is all healthy. Also, not seeing Woods or JSanders on there is also good news. I think there will always be players who will be out from time to time with lesser injuries and they will be reported on the two practice days. Injuries are always a concern...

Yeah and I can finally play Ben on my fantasy team. I have crappy TEs.

I'm also looking forward to seeing him on the field as he adds another dangerous element to our offense for opposing defenses.
