Quick FYI for the out-of-towners. Outside of New England, and of course Miami's viewing area, here are the television markets that will be showing the Pats game:
FL: Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tallahassee
Mobile AL, Albany GA
SC: Charleston, Columbia, Spartanburg
NC: Greensboro, Raleigh, Greenville, Wilmington

NFL TV Distribution Maps - CBS Week 3 Early

For the rest without Sunday Ticket or Slingbox, it's your choice of a sports bar or this forum and/or internet streaming video. Something to look forward to: weeks 6 and 7 are in primetime.

:DWow I dont think Ian Eagle has done a Pats game since 01 .. Solomon Wilcocts will be pleased that he is talking to Belichick :D

Oakland at Buffalo? WTF? Oh well, looks like I'll be getting hammered at a bar on Sunday.

I would rather we get Pitt-Philly than Jax-Indy here in New England for the late CBS game.

There are worse things that could happen to you...

Slingbox it is.

Thank you, Sling, because otherwise I'd be heading to that miserable Buffalo Wild Wings place that takes about 20 - 30 minutes after you request the game to find the channel.

oak@buffalo and det@sf and no 2nd cbs game for some reason in the bay area . WTF .

Yeah seeing I live down in New Jersey, the internets will be where i will be watching!!

dont discount these online P2P feeds. They work pretty good. its how I watched Pats Chiefs.

No second CBS game because the Bay Area is SF's primary market and they have exclusive tv rights when they have a home game. For the same reason, when Fox has a doubleheader and the Pats are playing at home, Fox cannot show a game in the same time slot here in Boston.

Indeed they do. I will be happily watching this weekend over them!

I had a little trouble with the p2p feed for the cheifs game, but it was better than nothing. I think it was justintv, or something like that. Does anyone know of a better one? I tried another one, but it required a software d.l. , and some people on here said it was full of spyware. Any recommendations?

Well I have downloaded and used Sopcast and TVants and have seen no issues. Alot of the websites that use Media player, I have noticed are a tad slower.

MyP2P.eu :: Free Live Sports on your PC, Live Football, MLB, NBA, NHL and more... is a good site. There you can download what you need.

Thanks, i'll give that one a try. Just out of curiosity, do you know if its possible to d.l. the feed? I wanna record as many games as possible this year, and the nfl network replay isnt helping me. :D

u can always find torrents for all nfl games in HD ........ if that is what you are interested in

I was thinking the same thing.

Who knows, maybe they will switch it. Remember in 2005 when CBS was going to show a meaningless Jets-Broncos game over a Colts-Bengals showdown (when both were good and Colts were still undefeated). THey ended up switching towards the last minute.

But Jet fans are so pleasant to be around, especially when they've been drinking.
