Re: Bob Sanders is out 4 to 6 weeks.

Hopefully he has a healthy recovery, after we play them of course:D

Re: Bob Sanders is out 4 to 6 weeks.

That sucks. I can't imagine losing such an important part of our team!

Just kidding. I hope he has a speedy recovery, he's a great player.

Re: Bob Sanders is out 4 to 6 weeks.

At this point, don't they pretty much have the 6+ weeks that he's going to miss due to injury budgeted in as an assumption going into the season? Oh well, as long as he's back for the playoffs it won't really matter to them anyways.

Re: Bob Sanders is out 4 to 6 weeks.

Jeez this guy gets hurt a lot, otoh he plays the game as hard as anyone... hope he comes back do not want any excuses...

Re: Bob Sanders is out 4 to 6 weeks.

I posted this in the visitors locker room where I thought we were supposed to for news on other teams.:confused:Hope he is back for the MNF game in TN.

Anyway as a Colts fan I am not suprised. He left in the 4th. High ankle sprain. We get to many injuries it never suprises me anymore, especially with Sanders. Show must go on.:D

Giordano I guess may start in his place like he usually does but Bullitt looked good filling in for him.Not sure yet.

Could it be he's..............made of glass?

Colts are made of glass.Heck even Howard Mudd is hurt.:p

Re: Bob Sanders is out 4 to 6 weeks.

Jeez, I know we have the marquee injury for the 2008 season, but the Colts don't seem to be having a lot of luck either.

I love Sanders and I'd like to see him back sooner rather than later.

Seems like a lot of injuries this year...and that Tenn game looks like a big one..Hope he's back for that and teh Pats the following week. He's a tough player.

"Seems like a lot of injuries this year"

There does to seem like a lot injuries this year...

As far as Sanders is concered, I'll never forgot how DRASTICALLY different the Colts were the year they won the SB when they didn't have him at the start of the year and then did have him in the second half of the season. He is dam good.

Doesn't he get hurt every year?

Will we miss him?

I'm sorry to hear. Sanders is a stud on the field, but the guy can't stay on the field. The problem is he likes to hit like Rodney Harrison, but he is the size of Kevin Faulk.

I think the Colts are done. I hate to see them lose this way, but I think they could potentially have 5-6 losses by midseason. There is only so much Manning can do. Most teams won't let them hang around like the Vikings did. With the interior part of their defense already suspect, the loss of Sanders is huge. Teams will run on them all game long.

I never wish for injuries even with the Colts.

And while it would seem one player would not carry a defense, Sanders seems to do so for the Colts. Freeney is a positive addition but Sanders really seems to be the switch between good and bad for that defense.

You guys realize now we'll be hearing all season long how the Colts have so many injuries and how Peyton Manning has had to pick them up and carry them on his back.

Of course. The Colts are the media darlings of the NFL, just like the Skanks are the media darlings of MLB.

So! Who wants to start the "Bob Sanders is made of glass" thread???

By the way! Whas there ever a "Tom Brady is made of glass" thread???
