They go with a receiver with a criminal record instead:
Koren Robinson

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Seahawks have signed WR Koren Robinson to a one-year contract.

Schefter speculates that Robinson could start immediately given how desperate the Seahawks are for healthy receivers and at the very least he figures to quickly work his way into a prominent role. His window to make a fantasy impact is likely fairly small given that Deion Branch and Bobby Engram will be back relatively soon, but Robinson could be an asset before then

So, Briz when are you going to see what the whole world sees when it comes to CJack.

Well..it would BE an interesting story IF Chad had tryed out for Seattle...BUT..if he didn't..bringing up Chad is just out of place...and KR's signing means zip...

I know. Just a dig to our friend Briz, more than anything else.

The title is a bit unfair, since Koren Robinson is a veteran who was also in the Seahawks system before.

Maybe the Seahawks really like Jackson personally and figured they would save him from a season ending injury. There isn't a more dangerous position in the NFL than a Seahawks WR.

The Seahawks are so thin at WR they needed a guy with proven ability Koren has it - CJ does not

This is hardly a dig at anyone, unless you are making fun of your infatuation with Briz. The Seahawks re-signing Robinson has nothing to do with Chad.

It is like saying Randy Moss couldn't even make the Redskins last spring because they signed Jerome Mathis.

I gave this thread a one-star rating because there was no option for minus stars.

Well since he's up there, maybe he'll get a look from the stampede or the eskimoes.:D

Yeah, the Seahwaks not signing Chad has nothing to do with how horrible he is.

It is the fact that no team in the NFL wants to sign him that shows how horrible he is.

Koren Robinson may have a criminal record, but he's also got something that Chad Jackson doesn't have. Starting experience in the NFL. But, why left the facts get in the way.

This argument is extremely hollow. Seriously, I could apply this comment to Junior Seau as well. Yet, look how he turned out.

The fact that he's a young WR who hasn't shown enough in the NFL to warrant a STARTING POSITION doesn't show him to be horrible. As was pointed out and you so ignorantly ignored, Robinson has histroy with the Seahawks. He already knows their system so there will be very little in the way of him playing catch-up.

Its really silly of you to call him HORRIBLE when he originally made the team out of camp as a rookie and he made the team (for a day anyways) out of camp this year. There is a problem with him in that he's not a good special teams player. And that is what teams look for in their 3rd, 4th and 5th WRs. Someone who also plays special teams.

But continue to be delusional and think that every player the pats cut is horrible. OH, Greg Spires and his SB ring say HI.

Holmgren drafted Koren Robinson in the first place, didn't he? And coached him for a couple of season? That probably had something to do with the signing... doesn't necessarily mean that he's better than CJax (not that he isn't- all signs do seem to indicate that that's the case)

What a laughable comparison with Junior Seau. I didn't know that Chad Jackson was a almost 40 year old LB coming off a major injury who might not even want to play. I thought Jackson was a young WR who everyone on here thinks is incredibly talented, who was drafted in the second round 3 years ago. Maybe Troy Brown is another comparison you consider the same.

And it isn't the Pats cutting him that makes him horrible - just like it isn't Seattle passing that makes him horrible. It is everyone passing. He was flying all over working out for teams and can't find a job. Cincy doesn't want him. Nor does Oakland. Or Miami. And those teams have no talent.

Especially a guy that already knows the Seahawks system, but don't let that get in the way of a good story..............

Think of it this way, the SeaHags already got screwed signing a former Pats wideout.

That aside, I hope that CJ gets a shot with another NFL team. Even if it's next season, an appropriate venue rather than any hopeless situation.

It wasn't laughable at all. It was appropriate in the context of your comment.

The point you made was that he sucked because no one signed him.

Okay, well, if not being signed means that someone sucks, then not being signed means that someone sucks, and Seau is one of many players who was not signed.

The OP's post was even more ridiculous, saying that if a team signed a WR, it meant that all WRs not signed by that team must suck.

If you don't like Chad, don't. Just say, I don't like Chad. BUt don't give us this crap that because the Seagulls signed Koren it is proof that Chad sucks.

He doesn't even suck, really. He is very talented. He's just not mature enough for the NFL. It's too bad.

Was Seau actively seeking employment with any teams this offseason. did he go for any workouts and not get a contract offer?

All jesting aside he should have contacted the Seahawks.
I also would not be surprised if he does go up to Canada. Why not?

I been saying it for years! C Jack is a classic work out pro. Big, ripped and athletic. The man love goes of the charts when fans see him with his shirt off. All show and no go. Look at a guy like Jason Whitton. You couldent see his abs with a radar, and he is a top TE in the NFL.

Jackson isa BUST.

Chad Jackson perhaps needs to learn to play FS ... somewhere else of course.
