Through 1/8 th of the season the Pats Defense is yeilding 10 points per game. That is better than ANY Patriots team has done throughout the millenial run.

The Offense is averaging 18 points per game; for a differential of more than one TD. That is a recipe for a double digit number of wins per season. The Passer rating is a gaudy 97.7 Not bad for a fill-in backup QB through two games.

It's two games, but if everyone stays healthy I think this team has a good shot at having a big say in who's standing last in the AFC.

Now go inside the numbers:
KC: Starting QB Brody Croyle, hardly a powerhouse offense. They improved a little, but not much when Huard came in.
NYJ: Consensus HOF QB Brett "int" Favre...learning a new offensive system and with very minimal time working with leading WR L. Coles.

Too early to crow over the scoring difference. That said, it's nice to see Cassel have two decent back-to-back games. This season is starting off nicely for developing an inexperienced QB before clashing with the "better" teams in the league.

lol, what is better?

this season is so screwed up, the colts get blown out by the bears, and barely beat the vikes, while SD goes 0-2, losing to the bills and denver and the jags also go 0-2, losing to the titans and bills...

"Quotes" are useful at times like this. :p

The Chargers lost to Carolina and Denver, not the Bills. Seattle went down to the Bills week 1.
