Good gameplan by you guys today, I understand you guys are still in the thrill of a huge win but I just wanted to congratulate you guys on the win. It was one of those text book definitions on why the Pats are the Pats. I thought we would win but by no stretch thought it would be a blow out. I felt we did a lot of these which were just ******ed gameplan wise. The Pats came out with the mind set of were going to stay short and simple, screens, quick slants, etc. We continuously blitz'd (I think thats a word) leaving large chunks of the field open for Faulk and Welker to gobble up. Im very irritated at the mangina (yea I said it :)). The offensive gameplan was vanilla, the defense played good at times but was confusing at other moments. Cassel I believed attempted 2 passes over ten yards mid way through the third. Yet we never dared him to throw down field except that busted coverage on Moss. Congrats on the win, just wanted to get some thoughts and possible answer any questions anyone had on todays game about how a Jet fan might feel. Just remember before you taunt me to shreds, I have been a good poster here (I would like to think so :)).

Well you did'nt blame the refs that's good enough in my book.;)

Thnaks K-Ro, it was a good, close game. Looking forward to the next one.

Thanks for staying classy. The Jets had a rough game, but there are far worse things to be than 1-1. Not going to go so far as to wish you guys luck, but after taking a quick glance at the JI boards I would say that some of the negative reactions are a little over the top. It's only week 2, there's plenty of time to turn it all around.

Good game, the Jets are a much improved team, their front 4 is formidable and their OL is scary, they gave Favre a lot of time to throw. Unfortunately for Jets fans, the coach and the QB are very overrated.

Good luck this year.

no you guys just controlled the LOS and just beat us. I think the Cotchery PI was a joke of a penalty but it did not cost us the game. As great as Jenkins was he just wore down towards the end. The goal line play calling was ******ed. 3 HB dives on the Pats? Great job mangina, play action possibly?

That's pretty big of you to offer a classy post like this, I tip my hat to you. I can't imagine the sheer shame and pain of being a Jets fan, my condolences. Now, where is your pal Gunnails?

Thanks for the congrats.

I think it boils down to one of two things for the Jets:

1. Brett has suddenly gotten old overnight

2. He does not know the offensive system and making stuff up can only go so far.

You and Gunny are good members and IMO are welcome anytime. This is a tough one for Jets fans. Favre is up and down and he still has some good games left in hm. He had a weird post-game speech where he said, "I had fun out there, it would have been more fun if we won, but I still had fun." (not verbatim) It was like he thought people were worried about how he felt. It's about the team Brett, not you.

cool post, my NFL-fan comrade.

Don't worry, the Jets will likely get better as the season progresses and as their new qb gels with the offense...or not...

Favre was a sure bet to be a slow learner for the offense, I'm not surprised he'd be given a vanilla game plan to bumble along. I got home in time for the last 11 minutes, that much looked like the game I envisioned. Revis and Pace looked promising for you.

Classy post K Ro, always fun talking with you - see you next game, we wont be taking anything for granted this year.

I would like to pony onto k-Ro's thread and also say the better team won and congradulations.

Cassel looked fine, Pats D came up huge, Jets were beaten in all 3 phases of the game.

But we will get you next time.:)

I grant you everyone is going over the top. However if there ever was a time when you wanted to be proven wrong on same ol' jets this was the game. This is the biggest let down I have ever had for a non playoff game. This win just sets the mood for the AFC East. Its the Pats and Bills and then the Jets still working out the kinks. They needed to win this game to maybe exercise some demons of the past and questions in their head. Before this game I was saying to myself how are we f'ing this game up.

Indeed you have, and we're glad to have you. Thanks for the gracious post.

The Jets-Favre marriage is looking a little confused at this point. You bring in the classic gunslinger to throw a lot of short, safe passes in 2-TE sets? Not a good coaching job IMO, and not a happy-looking team. The latter makes next week's trip to San Diego more important than you'd like any 3rd game to be.

Your namesake had a great game,K-Ro.

on the other hand.......what's happened to Harris?........too slow in coverage.....looked bad last week, too.

......to be fair.....Rodney Harrison is about cooked,IMO.........slow in coverage, poor tackling.

I dont care if they say it or not but Coles and Favre just dont seem to be getting along off and on the field. Coles doesn't look like he wants to be out there. Coles is such a whiny clown sometimes that he probably is hell bent on holding on to a grudge that the organization got rid of Pennington
