Don’t you just love Jet fans?...

...Every summer they think they finally have a shot to win or even appear in the Super Bowl for the first time in 40 years. So this year they sign Brett Farve (ewwwwwww) and the NY media and Jet fans all have a collective boner. Let's face it..... Farve is an overrated hillbilly. In his prime… he’s only 75% of the QB Tom Brady is and we all know he’s past his prime. He can thank Desmond Howard and the Patriots special teams for that 1 championship. And then last week they throw a party when Brady goes down assume he's the only reason we spank their a@@es every year.

Love the sack by AD slamming Lord Farve (and the running back) to the carpet like rag dolls.

It's almost exciting going into a game and not being able to cruise to a victory. I kind of miss this style grind it out game.

Brady OUT.....Maroney OUT.....a quarterback that's never started a game.....at HOME.....we have FAVRE......we are HEALTHY......enthusiastic crowd. This is THE most embarrassing game in Jets history. I've never been more sickened by our team then I am right now at this moment. This was completely embarrassing and this game will be remembered forever. Horrendous loss!!

I don't know which ones are funnier, this thread or the ones that blames the loss of the Pats getting every call, the OC giving away the game. The Jets should have made the field goal and scored on the 3 yard line and won (apparently, they forget the Pats had a similiar goalline situtation where they should have scored seven instead of 3).

Wow-Favre got a FREE PASS in Green Bay...quite simply b/c he won a SUPER BOWL with them.

Now he's with a new team, he's starting from scratch...Seriously-he's going to have to EARN his stripes from now, b/c he's yet to do squat with them.

Mentally-let's see how he's made of as this BIG NY media market will be going up against him!
