Charlie is on crutches at the Notre Dame - Michigan game as his own RB ran into him on the sidelines, and the announcer said Charlie sustained a torn ACL and MCL.

Yes, I started a thread just after yours, and they could be combined. They showed Charlie on crutches with one knee (left?) with a large brace on it.

this is weird, you are right.

both of them appear to be in good enough shape, yet they both tear the same 2 ligaments in their knees.

I think there may be a problem with the off-season conditioning.

No need to ask. He's rooting for his alma mater. But he's concerned for his mentor. although I gotta say Charlie looks a lot less concerned/disappointed about his ACL than Tom did. Beating Michigan like this will have that effect on a beleaguered ND HC...

Charlie's D finally looks to be coming around. Now he needs his next Brady...

His interview on the sidelines after the win was great. He called it his Tommy Brady injury. It is a torn ACL.

He looked at the camera and said "You ain't got nothing on me Tommy."
