An Open letter to the four guys who sat in front of me on Sunday,

Thanks for coming to the game, being completely unfriendly snobs and not doing a thing to support the team. With more fans like you we will quickly reach our goal of having the quietest stadium in the NFL. Hope to see you next week for miami. Best-D

An Open letter to the four guys who sat in front of me on Sunday,

As an outspoken critic of the crowd at Gillette stadium let me say you four embody EVERYTHING wrong with that place. I was somewhat pleased with the crowd on Sunday. For an early season day game the crowd was into it enough to make it loud on every defensive third down and on critical plays late in the game (I would like noise on every defensive play however). However you four snobs did not make one peep for the entire 60 minutes. Not one of you was dressed in a single item with a patriots logo, though I did see a US Open golfshirt and two red sox hats. You all wore tight khaki pants with tucked in shirts. You spent most of the game drinking Sam Adams beers and talking business. You only stood when you had too and not one of you showed any enthusiasm for the Pats. And worst of all like I said not one of you made a single peep of noise. I at least hope you had a nice ride home to Scituate, Duxbury, Weston, Cohassett or whatever snob town you live in. Lord knows you probably beat the traffic when you left with 5 minutes left in 7 point game. As a 29 year old self made man who holds a very advanced degree from a very prestigous university let me say that I can not stand your ilk. The "I am too good to cheer or show any enthusiasm" crew, as I call them. After all, I don't think there is any shame in supporting the home team to the fullest. That is why we deal with weather, traffic and exorbitant ticket prices. Next game, the four of you can keep your lilly white asses at home as far as I am concerned. You all spent 170 bucks to watch a football game with the same level of energy and enthusiasm that you could have had for free on your couch (And 8$ beers as well).

Warmest Regards,
An enthusiastic Patriots fan and believer in creating a true home field advantage at Gillette.

You need to invest in a life my friend! People have the right to stay quite if they wish! The razor is not built for noise anyway.

If that's how they want to enjoy the game and they aren't causing any harm to anyone, then so be it.

Of course we all want a Seattle esque home field advantage but that's just something that's never going to happen.

Well, i think you just insured that you will be in traction after the next game as they go ghetto on you.

You colossal moron. You are on the same board as I am wasting time and reading and responding posts just like I am. Please don't tell me I need to invest in a life that crowd is a disgrace at times.

I like the way the anger builds.

Well done. ;)

There, that's telling those four guys with the tight pants and tucked in shirts and no Patriots gear on (does the term way too much information mean anything to you); so because they weren't jumping up and down and yelling and screaming, they are not true fans?

Christ, is it Sunday, 4:15 yet, I really can't take much more of this.

I can understand your point, but people are free to enjoy a game how they want. When I was in college, we stood for the whole game in the student section, and only sat down at halftime. Even the roudiest fans at Gillette, or almost any NFL stadium don't do that, yet I don't hold it against them.

I can see you grew up on the South Shore... I used to live in Duxbury (Pembroke now) and your right, they are mostly snobs :snob: and a**holes, but there are some who are very supportive

it's.........just..........a...........game...........

That's a wee bit harsh, dontcha think?

Lets try and be nice.

if it is so unimportant than why are you on here reading this crap. Obviously I dont know those guys and clearly wrote in tongue in cheek. Yeah they were annoying for their lack of interest but come on it is not meant to be taken seriously.

I am guessing as to who is aimed at because I have something you need:

This message is hidden because Patslifer is on your ignore list.

Wow remind me to never sit near you at a game, I wouldn't want to fail to meet your guidelines for proper Patriots fandom. I see what you are getting at, but who gives a sh!t what they were wearing, eating, or live? I'm also glad you mention your very advanced degree from a very prestigious university, because it makes what you say OK.

I'm a little surprised this guy isn't getting more support. I could care less about the Patriots logo/clothing thing too (and sam adams is good beer) but the crowd at Gilette does often suck. Nothing wrong with a little ramble-rousing here.

If you follow the Pats and/or post on this board, you must agree with everything nepatz11 has to say. I don't see what's so hard for people to understand, he makes it very clear.

No dont worry I changed my post to show my appreciation for people who come to a football game but have no enthusiasm for being there. I was obviously joking about the pants and the shirts and the sam adams but come on people like that are terrible!

Sorry, I guess I missed that memo, is that some sort of "forum rule" I didn't see?
