What does TB feel like? Will he feel good for the team or kind of "left out". I would say the latter......

Tom is a Team Guy. I don't think he'd be anything but proud.

************. For so many reasons.

1) What a great problem to have.
2) The man is not a child with sitcom emotions.
3) Tom and Matt are good friends and it'd be a great situation for Matt going into free agency.
4) We haven't even played game 2.
5) Posters on this board listen to way too much talk radio or something.

I could go on.

This is just ridiculous to even mention right now.

Said Giants fans in mid-December 2007.

Guys, we still have life this season. After suffering a horrible death in the Super Bowl, I can't think of anything better than the chance to still win a championship in '08. We still have it. The odds are against us, but they don't need to be in our favor to win.

Re: Big Hypothetical but IF we win the SB....

I would think it would be both. He would be proud of Cassell and the rest of his teamates but he will feel left out having not been playing. If you ask what feeling would be stronger than from what I know and percieve of Tom I would think he would be more proud than left out.

I imagine he would call Phil Simms and they could talk about it together.

And hopefully we wouldn't be stuck with Ray Handley next year. :D

We trade Cassel to the Vikings for 5 first rounders and dominate the NFL for another 10 years.

Why can't it be both? Or why can't it be none of the above?

I'd be willing to put money that, once Tom's surgery is done and he's back up walking around, he'll be an intergral part of the team preparation. He can't physically partake in a practice, but he can be there for Cassel to bounce ideas off of.

Brady can also do a lot of film study with Cassel to continue to help Cassel develop.

If the Patriots make it to the SB, my bet is that Tom Brady is, at the very least, in the owners box with Kraft. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised to see him down on the sidelines during that game.

Gee,m your sarcasm is unwarranted.

Cassel is a UFA. The trading deadline is October 14th. Unless the Pats put the transistion tag on Cassel or give him an extension, he's gone at the end of the year. And the Patriots, at most, would get a 3rd round compensatory pick in the 2010 draft.

Re: Big Hypothetical but IF we win the SB....

He'd be relieved that his injury didn't cost guys who are late in their careers like Moss a Super Bowl ring.
