Bernard Pollard could show some class by having his lawyers (or KC's lawyers) contact these people and not allow them to use his name.

That would be a great gesture on his part. good idea

why dont we have a site that sells shirts like polamalu is my homeboy?

Even though there are homers and extremists for all teams, I could NEVER and I mean NEVER imagine patriots fans doing something like that

I sent a note to The Chiefs and asked them to look into it.

I would ask that we all do this. Will it help? I don't know - But it's better than doing nothing.

You can do it here:

http://www.kcchiefs.com/contact/

IF anyone know's Pollards agents name and contact info, let me know I'll ask him to contact the site as well.

I expect that from Jets fans, Squeeler fans are just as bad

I will say that I've seen a fair amount of anti-Peyton shirts that I thought were stupid. They weren't celebrating an injury though, that's pretty bad. What do you expect from Steelers fans though? The organization is good, but the fans are inbred, union-town dipsh!ts.

EDIT: and arrogant!

I don't think Marcus Pollard is on a team. I doubt he will get involved in this. ;)

Yea, I realized what I did there after the fact. It's early and I need some coffee - I fixed it. :)

Hey guys, get used to it.

Here in "the 'burgh", the feeling of inferiority is beyond pale. Even when they won SB XL, it had the "but we didn't beat the Patriots" feel. Several of the local writers admitted this after last years game. Also, the Pats are the measuring stick for their team.

Can their "stars" beat our backups?

What I love is that they think they have some kind of rivalry with us. To me the Steelers are just one of those pretty good teams we beat fairly easily every year. Not sure how they think they have a "rivalry" with us but if it makes them feel relevant I guess so be it...But we only have 2 rivals: the Jets and the Colts and only one of those teams has earned it.

Exactly

The "rivalry" comes from the fact they have been an opponent in big games. They also detest the losing at Heinz Field.

I try to tell people here the losing could be worse. Look at the Rams after SB XXXVI or Cincy after the 2006 beating at home. Both franchises have never been the same after those two debacles.

They get even matter when I say it's a testament to the organization that the Steelers can take a constant beating and remain a competitive organization.

I didn't mean that as an arrogant statement either, it honestly always catches me off guard. Before 2004 Yankees fans used to try to say that they didn't consider the Sox to be their "rivals" because they never got the better of them. This was obviously just arrogant trash talk, since to us, the Jets play that role now and most of us consider them rivals anyway.

But I always forget that the Steelers fans think this way and occasionally I'll be around some Steelers fans or something and here a comment like, "well we're big time rivals" and it throws me every time. I suppose the Pats have beaten them in some big games, but they aren't in our division nor do they ever present a legitimate obstacle to the Pats. Likewise, as a Celtics fan I wouldn't consider the Pistons to be our "rivals." That may develop now, but it certainly wasn't the case just because the Pistons always won the East. I guess I just really don't get it. Maybe it's the fact that their only real rivals, the Browns haven't provided them with any sort of challenge whatsoever, and they don't have that comparably-matched team elsewhere in the AFC that they exchange wins and losses with.

Someone posted a link to one of their forums a while ago, wow, what a sad, bitter group of fans. Of course, I've seen about the same from Bills and Jets fans, so what are you gonna do?

Funny thing is, all of these fanbases keep saying every year how they'll beat the Patriots. Yet they keep losing. Don't worry though, Steelers and Bills fans, you can always cling to those regular season victories you had several years ago.

As someone mentioned before, only the Colts have earned the right to really be called a rivalry. The Chargers, Jets, and Steelers are nobodies to the Patriots.

Booing the little Patriots girl during the Colts-Chargers game and a few obnoxious homers aside, Colts fans really aren't that bad.
